Jon HallFebruary 18, 2018Melo’s is the closest thing east Contra Costa has to Del Popolo, Neopolitana, Delfina and other classic wood or coal fired Italian DoP pizzerias. Thin-crusted, leopard spotted simple deliciousness.

Somewhat pricey but totally worth every penny- A large #1 combination pizza & a pitcher of beer to share w/ family & friends is where's it at! Great pasta dishes, too! Everything's delicious!

Michael CabotAugust 17, 2019Pizza and pasta were very good. Service was awful. Couldn’t get the waitress to stop tabbing or checking her phone to get a refill or an additional plate.
Google says they're open til 10, but they stop seating at 9:30, so don't dally!
Do not miss the calamari. Some of the best I've had.
