It is the closest airport to Milan city center, so very convenient.
The 73 or X73 buses will take you to Milan town centre. Buy a €1.50 pass to get you into town, ignore the Milan Card and bus offer the ticket guy will try to hawk onto you.
Natali YorkinaSeptember 22, 2013I had never seen before so slowly airport. You can stay more then one hour in a line for registration. And after that, 40 minutes in a security control. Thats awful and spoils the impression of Milan

Fast gate for security is left of std. security gate. Recommended to use as Linate always has long lines

BarraG KhalidApril 4, 2014It is much feasible to rent a car from this airport (everything is close by) if you are driving from Milan to Europe for a trip. The airport is just 15 mins drive from Milan and 25 mins by Bus.- not so far from the city center. Gates are reachable in 5 minutes but the airport is old fashion, small and bad shopping experience
Don't be fooled by its appearance, this airport is much more efficient than Malpensa.

filth everywhere, no organization, people di not like work, conflicting indications (by SEA people and on ceiling), pay with credit cards take 20 minutes (they do by hand): AVOID HERE...GO ROMA !!!
There's no point in standing in a queue when flights are bus connected...chances are that the last jumps in first. ;)

Carlo MFebruary 17, 2013Only 8 km away from downtown Milan, X73 Express Bus to Piazza San Babila makes sense if only for €1.50 each way.
The Orio bus right by the airport arrivals hall exit takes you straight into the centre of Milan for only €9
Judit KupóAugust 29, 2014Worst airport ever. Security staff is rude condescending and humiliating and they don't speak English. All flights are delayed. Rubbish places to eat drink or sit down and no sockets available.

To get from arrivals to departures and the other way around there are some stairs close to the post office
