This is by far the best and most well-stocked airport I've been to in America - and I've been to plenty. There's a coffee bean brewery, food trucks, driving range - not your average American airport.
To find the secret observation deck, enter Concourse D and walk past the Quiznos and Northern Lights Grill. Take the stairs up on your left. The deck is usually deserted. Enjoy!
Concourse E is best for napping/sleeping. Ride the elevator across from "Meadows" up to the third floor, and enter the 'quiet' traveler area. Don't bother with the airline clubs as they are small.
New water dispenser by gate F10 is marvelous! No need to buy water - just bring your own bottle. And this (filter) water tastes wonderful (worlds better than the MSP drinking fountains)!
Good airport with tons of connections especially if you’re flying Delta. I prefer to travel through here over Chicago when connecting in the Midwest as flights are usually always on schedule.
Ive been to many airports in the U.S. and this one is fancy! Very nice restaurants , salad bars, and a variety of healthy choices nSht! Nice airport to have a lay over in. I'm sad my layover is short
The bathroom doors swing outwards! No more climbing over the toilet and you bags to open and close the door! Ladies! This is amazing! Thank you to whoever (probably a woman) designed it!
Probably the best airport in the US. Can't speak for Terminal 2, but Terminal 1 (most airlines incl. Delta/United/American) is fantastic. Great food options, clean, easy to navigate!
One of my favorite airports in the U.S. Grab a Caribou coffee and visit the Minnesota store. Very tech savvy with iPads in most of the restaurants. So many stores...Uffda!...don't miss your flight!
Great airport! Lots of dining options and shopping. Try a local beer while you are there. Plenty of room to sit while waiting at your gate. Restroom stalls are spacious too.
This is airport is so clean and technologically advanced. I stumbled off a red eye from lax and I was greeted by free notepads all around my gate. It was so pretty....and so convenient for passengers.
While this airport is big it's easy to navigate. Signs are everywhere and the staff are helpful. There's plenty to eat and lots of shops. There's also plenty of artwork along walkways.
Top Dining Options: Surdyk's Flights, French MeadowBakery & Cafe, and Axel's Bonfire are all in Terminal 1, The Mall; Ike's in Terminal 1, The Mall & Concourse F; Rock Bottom Brewery in Concourse C. Read more
Terminal G seems to have taken inspiration from Las Vegas, New Orleans, and Savannah in allowing open containers throughout the terminal. Grab a beer and wander around
Try Caribou Coffee. Pretty legit. Also the bathrooms are really clean and a nice selection of stores. You MUST get a moose shirt before leaving and try not to laugh looking at them. :)
This may just be the best airport in the US. Certainly has the best food selection. I highly recommend the red cow, smack shack, and angel food bakery in terminal E.
This place is great if I'm flying out of Terminal 2. Security is quick and less people compared to Terminal 1. And yes, it makes sense because 1 has more flights, international.
Cleanest airport, great shops & absolutely loved the Prince store. This is now my fav ! “Every day I feel is a blessing from God & I consider it a new beginning. Yeah, everything is beautiful.” #RIP
This is one of the top airports in the US. Always great restaurant choices and shopping. Well laid out, easy to get to. Deltalounge by gate F is great.
If your traveling with pets, don't leave the building to walk them. Go to Costomer service and they will give you a key to a private pet area so you don't have to go back through security. Wonderful!
A really nice, clean and quietairport. Lots of food choices and it's really easy to get from the airport to downtown Minneapolis- just hop on the blue linetram! Costs $3 and will make it in 25mins.
Lots of power outlets, both wall power and usb! Restaurants are a bit expensive, but I haven't had any bad food. It's a very spread out airport, so don't feel shy flagging down an electric cart.
To all those dudes whining about missing Delta connections... do you know that you can choose a later flight, right? Book a connecting flight that leaves in just 30/40 minutes at your own risk idiots!
People - if you're going thru TSA Pre you don't need to take shoes off, remove belts, take out laptops etc. it's amazing how many travelers don't know this and how few TSA agents say anything.
The G gates areas are really relaxing, comfortable, and have healthy food options that are quick. The seating is clean and seats have tables with iPads and outlets. Great spot for a layover!
Come for the planes, stay for the retail! MSP does an amazing job of integrating retail and dining into the footpaths in a complementary way. It is just a fun place to walk around. And shop. And eat.
If you have time to sit and slurp, Andrew Zimmern suggests Shoyu’spork ramen and platters of crabfried rice with XO sauce and a fried egg on top. Read more
G terminal stripped of all chains and instead filled with fantastic, healthy local restaurants, microbrews, and Cibo Expresses. Surdyk's Flights in main terminal one of top 10 US airport destinations.
Surdyk's Flights was such a pleasant surprise tucked away in this Midwest airport! Amazing selection of wine, cheese and salumi. Will be the only place I eat at MSP on all future trips.
Own this airport like a boss text 444-555 on your way to the airport to get real time alerts about parking. Don't let a few inches of snow fool you, your flight will still leave on time.
There are so many great new food options here!Try Shoyu in G for awesome noodles and Mimosa ( G) for Nicoise Salad! Just review the menu & order via the ipads!Changing my airport food expectations!
If you have time there are some great restaurants.. wander and ride the train... Plenty of people movers and also some cool places to chill with booths and plugins
MSP has some of the best airport food in the USA. Vegetarians: I recommend LakeWine between Concourse E and F. For grab and go, French Meadow before Concourse E.
Minneapolis does an excellent job of keeping the airport open even in the most averse conditions. Airport is huge. Their is a back connector at the end of the G gate.
