- Megan CrumpAugust 8, 2013If you have to have a layover this is the place to have it! Delish food, an abundance of alcohol choices, and places to shop for stuff you never knew you wanted! Nice work MSP.
- Steve McDanielSeptember 18, 2014Everything is great here. Free iPads at all@the gates and restaurants. Great food and drink ordered and served and paid all through your iPad. And yes you can surf as well
- Darshy NAugust 11, 2011Welcome to Minnesota! If you're on layover enjoy wine and cheese at Surdyk, or organic sandwiches and desserts from french meadows- both examples of MSP good eats. Safe travels!
- Libby LeeJune 18, 2016Like the high tech facilities they provide. Order your food and drinks via ipad. They have so many plugs to help you charge your devices and let you use their ipads for free
- You can take any alcohol beverage with you to enjoy at your gate!
- I need a map; I want a big X on where to find the food. And why is the coffee station situated in some awkward corner? I’ve bumped more elbows (& possibly backsides) today than I have in a year.
- sugardaddie.comNovember 29, 2013One of my favorite airports to go through when moving through the midwest. Everything is clean and easy and even the lines move very fast for the amount of people that come through. A major hub.
- If you are a frequent traveler and have a system, I suggest using the the North security checkpoint. The South's bin system doesn't allow for TSA friendly laptop bags; everything has to go in a bin.
- Roger C AndersonApril 27, 2014A lot larger than I thought it would be... not too crowded either time I was there... easy to get around... lots of food courts and gift shops...
- I'm not a big fan of breakfast but I love the steak and eggs at TGI Friday's. Located on the C concourse. I'm pretty sure it's the basil butter that makes this breakfast so delicious.
- Annie YaoAugust 31, 2013There's really nothing to complain here, especially by delta! Lots of organic and gourmet food and snacks, slightly pricey but which airport isn't? One of the best airports I've been to in the US
- This airport is so huuuge & busy. I would advice to get here 2hrs early or eatlier. Check points are insanely long. Some people are still unsure of what's acceptable to pack & hold up the line.
- nice airport! delta hub. be prepared to walk a lengthy distance depending on where you enter security and your gate. plan ahead if you/travelmates require a wheelchair or transport.
- One of my favorite airports, but getting from one gate to another – depending on the gates – can be challenging if you have a tight connection. There are many food and retail options.
- Farrah !July 26, 2013Exceptionally clean airport! Delta flight was actually nice unlike United! The gate agents here are funny and have a jovial personality! :-)
- Merve GoysariSeptember 19, 2014Hands down the best airport/ layover/delay experience I have ever had... They have free ipads and wifi at your disposal as you wait to board your next flight! Incredible!
- This is one of the most awesome airports in the country to get hammered at. There are so many great and unique bars that it is almost a blessing if your flight is delayed. Explore, drink, and be merry
- ThomasSeptember 30, 2014Be sure to check ur terminal and map of the terminal prior to leaving home! Huge airport and connected via bus so allow ample time.
- Jet AirwaysAugust 7, 2014Walker Art Center: The first-class center has a strong permanent collection of 20th-century art and photography, including big-name US painters and great US pop art.
- HarrisonJuly 12, 2024Most or all of the dining options here charge a 4.5% hospitality fee. Found a Farmer’s Fridge vending machine instead, got a caprese salad. Tasty, satisfying, and cheap for airport food!
- Unless you've got lounge access; if you've got time to kill...Surdyk's is a must for a cocktail / wine and meats & cheeses. If you see me there on a Thursday afternoon leaving MSP, say hi :)
- Go to the Aveda (airport flagship) store to get your Chakras balanced! Best way to begin a flight & it's made in MN. #OnlyInMN
- Vrti EliasDecember 30, 2015If you have a layover, theres no need to spend money for a hotel. Even if they dont let you spend the night at the gates you can spend a night at the cozy carpet at the baggage claim (next to plugins)
- Megan SmithAugust 22, 2013If y'all don't like Delta then why do you fly on that airline? I personally LOVE Delta! The people are always great and first class is outstanding! Their Air Club is fantastic too!
- BlueNile TravelGroupDecember 8, 2012Pick up a coupon book at the airport information desk. While there and if you can, rent a bike or walk when the weather is warm, on one of the cities green-way's which are a blast.
- Hidden bathroom: Above the restaurant at the entrance to concourse E is a "Quiet Seating Area" in the back is a clean, hardly used set of mens and women's restrooms. Enjoy!
- Chick-fil-A at the airport! Great airport to fly internationally to, especially Amsterdam via Delta/KLM. Security is also quick when coming back into the States
- Collin DonohoDecember 23, 2013In terminal one, shopping is amazing! The mall is like a huge mall, just with airplanes! Amazing restaurants and recommend this airport as a layover any day!
- Have a moment before your flight? Head over to Concourse C and enjoy the rotating art show courted by Airport Foundation MSP.
- Best to get to MSP :90 mins to 2 hours before your domestic flight. Fewer TSA agents mean longer lines. But check out Art and new Film Room on the C Concourse... Cool...
- Ipek AkolMay 8, 2014Great airport! Make sure you will have enough time for connecting flies because it's really a very huge and a busy airport and it's so complicated.
- OmÂr PêrèzMay 16, 2024This airport has plenty of stores that will make you feel you are in a mall (but selling stuff with airport prices, so be aware). Anyway, I think that is a good point.
- Men's Health MagAugust 3, 2014Need food for the ride? Surdyk’s Flights will send you off on your travels with terrines, cheeses, jamón Iberico and anything else you need for the flight. Read more
- If you have a decent layover here, check out the golf driving range (with bar service) on the second floor just outside the main security checkpoint. Not a bad way to kill an hour or two.
- The renovations are incredible...iPads for everyone! Stop at the duty-free to spritz some perfume/cologne before you greet you loved ones. You're welc ;)
- banafsheh ghassemiDecember 17, 2012Concourse G the most tech advanced in any US airport I've been to. iPads at every table to order food, drinks, coffee, play games or surf the net while you wait for your very delayed flight.
- This is one of the longest stretching airports I have ever traveled through, so budget plenty of time for connections. Gates F and G are connected through an under path which takes extra time.
- Caroline HuntNovember 7, 2013Check-in online ahead of time and have your ticket sent to your mobile device. I skipped the long lines at the check-in counters and went straight to security. Win!

- A SFebruary 4, 2013In January or February, you land on top a 4-foot thick sheet of ice; may be a glacier of some type. Complimentary cross country skis when you get off the plane is a nice touch though.
- Best airport ever with beautiful mosaic artwork and fantastic gift shops and food options. It’s easy to navigate with lots signage!
- There may be secret nap mattresses in the secret observation deck in Terminal D. Stairs opposite gate D6.
- Eric FriedmanNovember 3, 2012So the tram system says concourse C the whole time but definitely gets you closer to concourse A and B. The signs are confusing but you definitely travel faster using it.
- Alaa ShakerSeptember 5, 2014Stopped here on a red-eye transit. Airport's clean & looks pretty hi-tech w/ iPads everywhere! A huge selection of food stops, and yes, they're all open. How hard is that?
- Catch the Metro blue line with a short jaunt through and around the parking garage and your on your way to downtown Minneapolis
- sunshineJanuary 22, 2015So colorful airport :)) if you have a long layover and want to eat at the airport must check ratings first before chosing one.
- Mao PaoJanuary 24, 2014Another tip said to take the tram thing to the gates to reduce your "carbon footprint". I say walk to your gate and reduce your waistline. Buy smaller shoes to reduce your carbon footprint.
- Fitz BaileyAugust 10, 2013Can we talk about the bathrooms for a second? Simply exquisite! I'd live in them if I knew how to get my mail forwarded to the right stall.
- If you have a short connection BEWARE you will need to have a cart get you there as this is a VERY spread out airport. But it does have a Chic Fil A!!
