- Farrah !July 26, 2013Exceptionally clean airport! Delta flight was actually nice unlike United! The gate agents here are funny and have a jovial personality! :-)
- People - if you're going thru TSA Pre you don't need to take shoes off, remove belts, take out laptops etc. it's amazing how many travelers don't know this and how few TSA agents say anything.
- Hidden bathroom: Above the restaurant at the entrance to concourse E is a "Quiet Seating Area" in the back is a clean, hardly used set of mens and women's restrooms. Enjoy!
- Megan SmithAugust 22, 2013If y'all don't like Delta then why do you fly on that airline? I personally LOVE Delta! The people are always great and first class is outstanding! Their Air Club is fantastic too!
- You can take any alcohol beverage with you to enjoy at your gate!Upvoted 4 weeks ago
- Roger C AndersonApril 27, 2014A lot larger than I thought it would be... not too crowded either time I was there... easy to get around... lots of food courts and gift shops...
- BlueNile TravelGroupDecember 8, 2012Pick up a coupon book at the airport information desk. While there and if you can, rent a bike or walk when the weather is warm, on one of the cities green-way's which are a blast.
- Jet AirwaysAugust 7, 2014Walker Art Center: The first-class center has a strong permanent collection of 20th-century art and photography, including big-name US painters and great US pop art.
- Annie YaoAugust 31, 2013There's really nothing to complain here, especially by delta! Lots of organic and gourmet food and snacks, slightly pricey but which airport isn't? One of the best airports I've been to in the US
- banafsheh ghassemiDecember 17, 2012Concourse G the most tech advanced in any US airport I've been to. iPads at every table to order food, drinks, coffee, play games or surf the net while you wait for your very delayed flight.
- If you are a frequent traveler and have a system, I suggest using the the North security checkpoint. The South's bin system doesn't allow for TSA friendly laptop bags; everything has to go in a bin.
- This is one of the most awesome airports in the country to get hammered at. There are so many great and unique bars that it is almost a blessing if your flight is delayed. Explore, drink, and be merry
- Best airport ever with beautiful mosaic artwork and fantastic gift shops and food options. It’s easy to navigate with lots signage!
- A SFebruary 4, 2013In January or February, you land on top a 4-foot thick sheet of ice; may be a glacier of some type. Complimentary cross country skis when you get off the plane is a nice touch though.
- Caroline HuntNovember 7, 2013Check-in online ahead of time and have your ticket sent to your mobile device. I skipped the long lines at the check-in counters and went straight to security. Win!
- Surdyk's Flights was such a pleasant surprise tucked away in this Midwest airport! Amazing selection of wine, cheese and salumi. Will be the only place I eat at MSP on all future trips.
- If you have a decent layover here, check out the golf driving range (with bar service) on the second floor just outside the main security checkpoint. Not a bad way to kill an hour or two.
- Collin DonohoDecember 23, 2013In terminal one, shopping is amazing! The mall is like a huge mall, just with airplanes! Amazing restaurants and recommend this airport as a layover any day!
- If you have a short connection BEWARE you will need to have a cart get you there as this is a VERY spread out airport. But it does have a Chic Fil A!!
- sunshineJanuary 22, 2015So colorful airport :)) if you have a long layover and want to eat at the airport must check ratings first before chosing one.
- Merve GoysariSeptember 19, 2014Hands down the best airport/ layover/delay experience I have ever had... They have free ipads and wifi at your disposal as you wait to board your next flight! Incredible!
- The TSA Pre checkpoint is #4 which is more than halfway along the drop off area at the terminal. (Checkpoint #1 is the first and so on). It's a very short walk regardless though.
- MSP has some of the best airport food in the USA. Vegetarians: I recommend Lake Wine between Concourse E and F. For grab and go, French Meadow before Concourse E.
- The renovations are incredible...iPads for everyone! Stop at the duty-free to spritz some perfume/cologne before you greet you loved ones. You're welc ;)
- I'm not a big fan of breakfast but I love the steak and eggs at TGI Friday's. Located on the C concourse. I'm pretty sure it's the basil butter that makes this breakfast so delicious.
- Jeffrey RMay 14, 2017If you have time there are some great restaurants.. wander and ride the train... Plenty of people movers and also some cool places to chill with booths and plugins
- Men's Health MagAugust 3, 2014Need food for the ride? Surdyk’s Flights will send you off on your travels with terrines, cheeses, jamón Iberico and anything else you need for the flight. Read more
- One of my favorite airports here in the U.S. Can't complain about the layout of the Terminals and they are easy to navigate. The restaurant "Chili's Too" in G Terminal is excellent.
- Gluten-free vegetarians: Caribou Coffee in Concourse B sells a tasty Southwestern Black Bean salad. Hopefully the other Caribous in MSP have them, too!
- New restaurant layout spreads restaurant options throughout the airport. I say Terminals E & F now have the most and best options.
- Such a good airport: good moving walkway signage, chik fil a, French meadow bakery, and such big and clean bathrooms in terminal F.
- Mao PaoJanuary 24, 2014Another tip said to take the tram thing to the gates to reduce your "carbon footprint". I say walk to your gate and reduce your waistline. Buy smaller shoes to reduce your carbon footprint.
- Go to the Aveda (airport flagship) store to get your Chakras balanced! Best way to begin a flight & it's made in MN. #OnlyInMN
- Arjan TimmermansAugust 9, 2014Perfect for an international layover. Easy and fast to get from one gate to the other. Use the people mover that stretches across the airport.
- Megan CrumpAugust 8, 2013If you have to have a layover this is the place to have it! Delish food, an abundance of alcohol choices, and places to shop for stuff you never knew you wanted! Nice work MSP.
- KR ColemanOctober 8, 2011Simple planning makes the difference, get there early and grab a good seat and do some people watching. Takes the stress out of worrying about security delays. Don't sweat the small stuff!
- RebeccaOctober 13, 2013Talked to an employee at the food court who overheard my convo with a friend- subway is way less expensive than the sandwiches at the Concourse G Food Court. Better deAl and say true!
- SamsoniteMay 3, 2011Stretch out your legs at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport with their walking path. The 1.4 mile track leads you around the airport, and is easy to follow with green dots to stay on track.
- I'm all about the sushi at wok n roll. Inexpensive and consistently good.
- Laura GaulkeApril 17, 2013Airport is gorgeous. Lots of good restaurants and shops. Free wifi. Lots of outlets. But it is huge...so do be careful to leave enough time to get to gate.
- Own this airport like a boss text 444-555 on your way to the airport to get real time alerts about parking. Don't let a few inches of snow fool you, your flight will still leave on time.
- ThomasSeptember 30, 2014Be sure to check ur terminal and map of the terminal prior to leaving home! Huge airport and connected via bus so allow ample time.
- Emily OConnorJanuary 25, 2013Some of the best restaurants in the cities are in the airport. I recommend Ike's- they aren't capable of making bad food. Use the skyway checkpoint if you have no bags. Otherwise, gate 6 is fast.
- Vrti EliasDecember 30, 2015If you have a layover, theres no need to spend money for a hotel. Even if they dont let you spend the night at the gates you can spend a night at the cozy carpet at the baggage claim (next to plugins)
- The airport now has free wifi! If you're looking for a quiet place to chill, go upstairs above the mall (right after you go through security).
- Winnie SentyMarch 17, 2018Ask people who know the airport which way your gate is so that you can decide whether to go by tram, walk, ride.
- KellyJuly 22, 2012Bring a container for water. They let you get water from the soda fountain for free. Bonus: saves you money and is good for you & the environment. :)
- Eat at Surdyks mini deli in thr shopping area. Awesome food, wine and microbrews. Beats everything else to eat hands doen. (not chrap tho). Also sandwiches on the go!
