- Paul HyunFebruary 12, 2013Go for lunch. The food is interesting and a lot of fun, but not wait-in-line-for-2-hrs good!
- Chicken wings, torn cabbage leaves and the Mission Daiquiri. There isn't a more perfect pairing. Threesome. Whatever.
- agnes chanJune 3, 2012You can't go wrong with broccoli beef cheek, chongqing wings, and the smashed cucumbers
- Mark KizelshteynJuly 3, 2015Enjoyed dinner. But this place is miles away from the original spot. Where are the pig ears!?
- Eugene LeeMay 25, 2012I love salt but wow the pork jowl was intensely salty I had to send it back. I'll try this place again in 5 months
- Cathy MuldowneySeptember 13, 2012Twice cooked bacon and snap peas were good. Pass on the pig tails. For drinks, get the cocktail made with grapefruit!

- Ben 💯 BenrubiFebruary 19, 2013“I would cheerfully shit like a mink tomorrow for the many splendored delights of #MissionChinese today." - Anthony Bourdain
- Holy spicy food. Danny Bowien will blast your taste buds with explosive or numbing spices. Get the wings, cod fried rice, lamb, triple cooked bacon, and the uni or duck if you feel like dropping $$$
- Lauren LachsJanuary 4, 2013you'll forget how long you waited to get inside once you take your first bite of cumin lamb.

- Food RepublicJune 26, 2012Get with the Mapo Tofu x Kung Pao Pastrami x Thrice Baked Bacon. Beware. The spice ratings are the truth.
- Kate FurmanFebruary 16, 2015The food is so good but it burns so badly. Get the bread service for some heat relief.
- Inna GJuly 15, 2018The wings are extremely spicy and over rated! The only thing good was the rice cake.
- Vindu GoelJanuary 20, 2013Lamb is great. Pastrami is disappointing. Get something cool like the cucumber because this food is crazy hot.
- DKNLSeptember 24, 2012Just had lunch here. Not sure what all the fuss is about, most dishes are too salty or spicy to really appreciate the true flavor of the ingredients. Try Yunnan Kitchen down the street, much tastier.
- Emily K.June 1, 2015That Taiwanese shaved ice dessert is NOTHING like Taiwanese shaved ice (and not in a good way).
- Andrew ContiJanuary 11, 2015The general tso's old fashioned is sweet, so smooth, and not at all spicy.

- The Corcoran GroupJune 13, 2013Not your average Beef and Broccoli. Either wait-it-out or take-it-out, and don’t be misled by the run-down façade.
- Dorothy Jean ChangAugust 10, 2019Great for dinner but sadly lunch is v weak. Only includes a few things and not the ones we were hoping for.
- A A.May 3, 2018Their menu seems like combine Chinese and Japanese food. Too much spice for me. According to this, All menu same taste.
- Grub Street's Cheap Eats says: "Sichuan pickled vegetables ($4), 'sizzling' cumin lamb breast ($15)."
- rice cakes, mapo tofu, pastrami, and get take out if there's a wait
- Alan TachikawaMay 3, 2018Despite all the positive comments here, I felt that they use too much artificial spice. That's not the same as "spicy" in a good sense. Avoid if you are looking for authentic chinese.
- Nana BoatengMarch 4, 2013Everyone orders the cod fried rice and the chong wings cause they're awesome!
- HelenAugust 6, 2013It was soo good when I went the first few times. The mapo tofu is still unbelievably good, but the scallop noodles were too salty to eat and clams were just alright.
