When Gladys pivoted to West Indian cuisine, a monument of sandwichery toppled. Now the old regime's delicious signature dishes have been resurrected at this side street lunch window around the corner.

So, so good. Can't go wrong with a classic grilled cheese and a spicy tomato bisque. Note that there are only two seats in the place though!

Delightfully simple menu, European Combo is delish. Pollos Hermanos is made with real chicken (and has a way better name) but pales by comparison.
