Odd as it may sound, these are the best elevators ever. Punch in your floor, it tells you which car, of seven, to board, and drops you at your floor. Fast.Upvoted 3 weeks ago
The elevator system works GREAT! Only issue with the elevators is that in a city known for music, I was surprised to hear just the standard run of the mill, typical "elevator music". LOLUpvoted 2 weeks ago

Allen ArcadeAugust 6, 2011Hard to beat the location... Right in the mid-section of Canal St and in the French Quarter just a couple of blocks from Bourbon St. Don't fret too much about the parking fees. It's high everywhere.
ALWAYS excellent customer service at the registration desk. Valets and bell staff are friendly and very helpful.

Free food at meal time in the concierge's lounge is more chaotic than at a late night pizza place in a college town after last call.
Great view of the river for some rooms. Hotel staff were very responsive.

Amazing club sandwich from the in-room dining. They actually get your food to you when they say they will as well. Always a plus when you order room service.

Gorgeous hotel, good food, great conference space BUT! Really need to do something about the sluggish-to-nonexistent WiFi in the ballrooms!

$15 a night for wifi in the room? I'll pass. Especially if the speed in similar to the wifi in the ballroom and lobby. Do yourself a favor and go to Starbucks

Liz BaxterDecember 30, 2010Nice location and housekeepers do a great job. I have stayed here twice now and would stay again- We had to hear the freight elevator all night. Ask for a room that is low number on floor ex. 3808 or 3815...don't get room ex. 3831 or 3828
There is a little learning curve to the elevators. Makes life interesting after a fun night out!

Jason M.April 9, 2010Elevators here are wack!! They have some weird system where you put what floor you want to go on and it assigns you to a car. Seems to take longer than it normally would.
