Staff is beyond rude when checking in for a 9am appointment. Paperwork says to check-in 15 minutes before an appointment. When you follow directions, the counter staff yells at you like you're a kid.

Definitely worth price of admission. Be sure to check out Tim Russert's office. Newseum is one of Washington's new 'must-dos'.

Skip the orientation video. Didn't help and was confusing. Start at the top and work you way down. The Pulitzer Prize photo room is too intense format kids.

Newseum numbers: 250,000 sq. ft., 35,000 historic newspaper front pages, 15 theaters, 8 sections of the Berlin Wall (each is 3 tons), First Amendment tablet on Pennsylvania Ave. is 50 tons of marble.

Take advantage of the fact that all tix are valuable for two days. You'll want to come back. Also, there's a 10% discount if you buy online.

Check out the "This Week" (formerly with George Stephanopoulos) studio on level 3. Take the "insider" tour twice and compare the docents' different (often conflicting) facts schpiels...
