Great thing to do to beat the heat at coney for a bit. Pretty small but worth the ticket as it goes to help their funding.

The new shark building is amazing! The line is shortest when everyone else is waiting for the sea lion show. Don't forget to go to the touch tank (and bar!) on the roof!

Nice, Clean & fun Aquarium.Don't miss the puppet shows for the little ones. Also, be prepared to have your picture taken at the entrance, for future purchase. Pictures are cute but on the pricey side.

Check out the ocean view deck (especially if it's hot and crowded) to get some beach views and breeze and hourly puppet shows.

Sea Lion show is worth it, the new shark exhibit is great. Make sure to bring snacks as concession stand closes randomly and has a very limited menu.

Don’t go if you plan to arrive after 10:30, esp. if you’re driving. Any later: no parking, busloads of kids, and LONG lines for attractions. Arrive 9:30-10, see Sharks 1st, Sea Lion show @ 11, chill.

Get there at 9:55 on a week day * hit the penguin feeding when they announce it {on the warmer summer days it will be the only time to see them} * see the 11am sea lion show * be on the beach by noon!

The new shark exhibit is very cool but that’s about all there is to see here. Nice time killer if you live nearby but very lame compared to other aquariums. Hit the boardwalk after.

The walruses and otter exhibits were the best! This aquarium is rather small due to construction, it took more time on the train getting there than to explore the entire aquarium.

a lot of it is still under renovation, so you'll want to plan to visit some other spots in coney rather than make the trip just for the aquarium

This underwater world is the host to endless species of wet wildlife. This venue is perfect for a corporate picnic or a formal event. Events held are @ Oceanic Deck, Sea Cliffs, or Alien Stingers.

The bad news: The Aquarium is still recovering after Hurricane Sandy so there are few exhibits. The good news: Admission is only $9.95 and there are cute penguins.

The aquarIum was only 40% open. They are still rebuilding after super storm Sandy. They will most likely be 100% open by spring 2014 they said. ...hopefully!
