Arrive early if you are seated in the balcony. Long walk upstairs and if you are in the middle its a hike past lots of people.

Great sound for music performances. If the showtime is listed as 8pm, it means the show starts at 8pm. Get there early if you're seated in the balcony.

Really nice intimate theater. Can feel a bit crowded, particularly toward the back. If you get the chance to sit up close, take it.

alvin ailey's revelations should be mandatory in december for everyone who lives in NY. <$30 for a ticket on a weekday and saw 4 original choreographed pieces from the 60s!

A beautiful space, but like many old theaters, it's not as handicap accessible as it could be. And mid to rear balcony is definitely an obstructed view, so keep that in mind.

Very nice and accessible theatre. Although the fact that they make you purchase a cup to put any drink you buy in is lame

Nice theatre space for larger productions up toward Carnegie Hall. Decent leg room... Unless you are well over six feet tall.

This place is just getting worse and management is apathetic or missing the mark. Staff is mindless and rules supersede crowd management and comfort. We were told re entry was ok then gave us trouble.

Gorgeously refurbished. Balcony sight line is very steep so not recommended for something you really want to see.
