- hitgirlFebruary 21, 2018I didn't think I'd like this place so much coz I already have a go-to bagel shop but this was a surprise. The bagels are enormous & soft. Great selection of hot/cold drinks & pastries.
- Kimmie OhhSeptember 22, 2019They have outside seating as well as indoor seating & they have free WiFi! Check out their specials posted outside & above the doggy water bowls :). Lines can get long, but move quickly.
- Kristina RudicSeptember 25, 2017Bagels are the biggest and softest in the world! Pure delight. Order anything, as nothing will disappoint.
- I can't even eat bagels and I love this place. Excellent coffee, great interior design, free wifi.
- Great addition to the neighborhood, bagel shop you actually want to hang out at! Good coffee an bagel selection is great. Tables can get overrun with a lot of loner laptop folks though.
- A delicious selection of bagels that pairs well with the delicious coffee. Best coffee in the area.
- MikeNovember 20, 2017Tasty and filling bacon egg and cheese. Even with a long line the service was quick, they just kept pumping out the sandwiches and coffees.
- Sandro MorandinMay 25, 2015Bagel, coffee and all the rest is amazing! Try the apple pie or the cinnamon roll. A must in Astoria
- Best cappuccino in Astoria. Hands down. Only downside to this place is the overabundance of screenplay writing hipsters and overly loud scenesters. The fire roasted tomato basil cream cheese is boss.
- Natalie LeMossSeptember 21, 2022Lots of great options to choose from. I’ve liked every bagel from there except the salt bagelUpvoted Oct 30
- David HinesJuly 1, 2013Great place. Huge bagels, good selection of spreads. They've also got water bowls out front for dogs. Last time I was there, the owner offered to hold a customer's dog while they ordered.
- Amazing coffee and bagels. Best in the area. The clientele however is a sign of the awful gentrification that has hit the area.
- Tomas HinojalSeptember 17, 2013The best decaf in town. Also, their bagels, pastries and everything else they make is out of this world!
- NetsirkJuly 7, 2015Lots of seating for working but can get crowded on a weekend and after work on a weekday. But open late up til 10 with some good food and healthy options as well.
- Dog friendly and solid bagel- great option for weekend breakfast if you're in the area.
- Every table has a hook to hang your purse, bag, or other personal effects. They're easy to overlook (I only saw them while stooping to pick up something I dropped), but they're there. Nice touch.
- LOVE this place. Great for getting work done, staff is fantastic, and the iced vanilla chai latte is the most delicious thing I've ever tasted.
- Added sidewalk seating for warm weather months, 9 new tables, smart for biz & now another cool place to hang and get some sun. Place keeps getting better.
- Fantastic selection of flavored cream cheeses, with weekly specials. Great outdoor seating. Delicious ham, egg and cheese. Too many fedoras.
- Love coming here on weekends for a quick breakfast and with outdoor seating there's usually a table for 2.
- Jack PhamDecember 3, 2015Their tofu spreads are legit, don't be afraid if you're curious (or lactose intolerant).
- Best customer service in the city. Always friendly, efficient, and the cafe is always kept tidy. Great foods and coffee to boot, too!
- Stephen MarcottJune 6, 2015That roasted toasted basil cream cheese though. Put it on a flat sesame bagel and it's basically a margherita pizza sandwich
- Iced coffee and a bagel is 5.99$ idk where that girl got $9 from. I think the price is fair. Plus best bagel in NYC I think it's worth the $3
- Wandered in here and got a delicious Iced Chai Latte! And the staff really are so incredibly friendly... made me miss the west coast just for a moment =p
- Great atmosphere! They open the doors up in the summer. There are power outlets under the bench inside
- French toast bagel drowning in butter, it's so good. Staff is really friendly too.
- For better or worse NYCBCH is very welcoming of babies/toddlers/families. There are definitely peak family hours there. if you go often, you'll figure them out and know when to go or avoid.
- A great addition to the hood, and way better than BK Bagel. Haven't had a bad thing yet.
- An Astoria Treasure!! And their low fat cream cheese is beyond delicious! A must try!
- The cream cheese here is on point! Add avocado if you'd like to do it right.
- Put a napkin under your iced drink to keep the rest of the table from getting wet from your drink sweat.
- Katerina CharalambousJanuary 13, 2014Best bagels ever. The low fat scallion cream cheese is amazing.
- Brian ParkDecember 19, 2014Cream Cheese should be renamed Dank Schmear because they are so damn good
- I love this place, yummy food & coffee, great staff & space BUT it's just a bit too expensive! $9 for a bagel & coffee? I could go across the street & buy the same for half that! Change it up, guys!:)
- Need to charge an electronic doohickey? Look for the outlet icons on the banquette seat along the wall.
- Don't forget to say you want your bagel toasted, if you do.
