I had the Udon Bowl with a Mocchi ball in it, and am very very satisfied. Followed it down with a portion Takoyaki, and with a large beer, you've a perfect end to the day.
Best Schnitzel I had in a long time, and situated perfectly between today's ride from Salzburg to Bad Ischl. And if you have too much energy, go climb the Drachenwand. It's literally in the backyard.
Great Hostel! Easy to get to, very clean and comfy, and brealfast is pretty good as well. Close enough to the center of town that it only takes one bus ride to get there.
Years ago, when we used to come here on the regular, the barman offered me a drink on my birthday. That drink was a Hemmingway Special. It has been one of my favourite drinks ever since.
Great bread, great coffee, and a very familial atmosphere. You know it's good when it has been around forever and the whole neighborhood frequents it.
Everything is delicious, but my go-to order is a Farmer's Burger and, following a timely recommendation by the staff, a New Castle Brown Ale. This is also the only pub with a chill atmosphere in town.
Imho, the best pool in town. Only sad thing is that it is only open during late spring/summer...
All the drinks are delicious and the atmosphere is great for anyone going there alone or with a couple of people. By all means try their more different drinks! You'll be surprised at what you'll like.
I had the Tonkotsu Ramen and it was great! If you're used to big Ramen portions, do order extra noodles, since the portions are rather on the small side.
Had the Massaman Curry. Could have done with a bit more rice, but apart from that everything was great!
