The trade center's twin 110-story towers, the planet's tallest buildings when they officially opened in 1973, were destroyed in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks against the U.S.

One World Trade Center is a masterfully designed building and a symbol of resilience and resolve. I'd recommend this site as a follow on to the 9/11 Memorial. It shows first the pain then the triumph

Absolutely worth it going all the way up if it’s a clear day: can’t beat the view. We’ve also upgraded to the iPad experience, found out some interesting tidbits about the most famous landmarks 👍🏻

WTC is a very special place and it touched my heart and soul when I was there to visit this place for myself. I will never forget about 9/11 and the wonderful people who lost their lives.

Maybe one of the best skydecks in the world, because of the production and view. You can really feel vertigo in the 360 panoramic route. The only negative point? $21.5 for a Jack&Coke... come on!

The memorial is done very well and quite is quite touching seeing the names of the people who died there. It is an important place to visit when in NY.

Buy tickets online if you want to skip the first line. Buy directly from venue otherwise. Great experience and views. Everything is neat and clean and organized.

Honestly this is great. You really get value for your money, the experience starts already in the elevator and finds its climax on the 100th floor where you have a spectacular view

This place is breathtaking. It's the tallest building in America. The observation deck is set to open in the spring and I can't wait to do it. Amazing building!

If you look at the new 1 World Trade Center building from the center of one side standing at the base, it looks like a very tall pyramid #911memorial

The building is great, the all-white subway corridor is worth instagramming, the view is breathtaking, but you'll be behind glass, so photos will likely feature lots of lights reflections

The One World Observatory experience will include a trip up to the building's highest floors, a 1,250-foot climb which will only take 60 seconds in the building's special Sky Pod elevators.

Get tickets online. Go off peak. A silly system of lining up outside for tickets and then going back outside (in the freezing cold) and getting back in line with your ticket. Seriously?
