David Chang says "the restaurant in Manhattan’s Chinatown where I’ve eaten more meals than anywhere else on the planet". Surely that secures at least one visit?

This unfussy Chinese restaurant serves terrific awesome seafood dishes as well as surprisingly delicate dim sum. The scene can be hectic, especially during the weekend lunch rush. [Eater 38 Member]

Perfect blend of Jing Fong/Red Egg experiences: you can order both off the cart and off the menu, but without the 30-45 min wait for seats. Get pork ribs, steamed pork buns, and tofu rolls

Delicious dim sum both off the cart or menu, comfy seating, love that it's easy to have a conversation, and no lines. While Jing Fong overflows, I'll go next door...happily!

Love the turnip cake, shrimp in noodle crepes and all the dumplings. You may share a table with strangers, and that's some of the fun. Favorite dim sum in the city.

Great selection, good service and most importantly, good quality dim sum. A little more expensive than the other dim sum places, but well worth the cost.

A bit less touristy than its neighbor, Jing Fong, this is a solid dim sum option in Chinatown. We love the chive dumplings the most!

If any of Chinatown's best dim sum joints are undiscovered, this one is, though long weekend waits suggest otherwise. Chinatown pros and pro chefs alike consider it best-of-breed. [Eater 38 Member] Read more

A bit pricier than Jing Fong and surrounding dim sum spots, but you get it back in quality. There's also no need to chase carts - anything you want you can order off the menu

Best dim sum in Manhattan. Better ingredients than anywhere else and all perfectly cooked. Excellent service as well - not expected at dim sum.

Authentic Chinese food. It's on the pricier side for Chinatown, but their food is high quality and they're especially known for an excellent selection of seafood.

White-friendly foods here only. Didn't see tripe, not even congee. The only thing slightly objectionable to the European-American palate might've been the chicken feet.

Beware of the $10/bottle corkage fee. They enforce sometimes and others they do not. Attempts at bartering the price down to $5 or free will often prove successful. Oh, and salt baked shrimp w peppers
