- Great atmosphere, nice room, bay view w/private lanai, walking paths, lagoons to explore, fun observation tower, pools have fires beside chairs going at night, huge store, coffee bar, and restaurants.
- Had such a great experience here. Got a special in the fall when it was still warm from the Santa Anas. Very few people staying here, hotel staff were super accommodation and friendly. I'll be back!
- Maria LaMonicaFebruary 9, 2014Beautiful, quiet, and comfortable. Lots of water activities in lagoon and Bay out your front door. Any age would enjoy this place. They have a little green to practice chipping and putting too.
- Jenna Rose RobbinsJanuary 18, 2023I've taken my family to this waterfront resort on few occasions and have always loved it, although I need to plan a visit when I can spend more time on the property to enjoy all the amenities.
- Katie MartinMarch 15, 2012Awesome resort once you get past the price shock. Everyone is so friendly. The spa is great and you can play tennis, etc on the resort. Reminds me of the dirty dancing resort baby spent her summers!
- Check out the big fish fountain in the main lagoon next to the lobby. It's from the set of Hollywood classic film "Cleopatra" starring Elizabeth Taylor!
- Eric ZunigaJuly 25, 2017Lots of beach front seating areas with bonfire pits, wish the room was nicer, but you can't beat the location or the company.
- Otel.comJune 5, 2012This hotel definitely fits its name. Don't miss the “Dive-in” movie nights where you get to watch movies at a poolside lounge or while lying on a pool float.
- Sam TNovember 13, 2010Great place! Kids love the pool and beach. Bonfire at night was a nice touch at the pool.Restaurants are a bit pricey if you have kids, but lots of food options on Sports Arena Blvd.
- Hotel TonightDecember 6, 2011Never a dull moment with five pools, tennis, a putting green, basketball, ping pong, water sports and a world-class spa.

- Rooms are okay; comparable to Westin or Marriott, but areas are shady at night. Not enough street lamps. A lot of amenities like free Wi-Fi and access to gym and pool, but for price not worth it
- Rochelle Rocky Smith EspinozaMarch 3, 2013Room 235 was great. Bonfire was wonderful. Only bad thing was the extra charge for parking. Are you supposed to walk in?
- Kristin CalhounApril 5, 2012Mixed review. Lots of great people, trying to make stay awesome, and crusty rooms with needed upgrades
- DHR.comMay 3, 2012The Spa at Paradise Point has lots of exotic treatment waiting for you. It's open from 8 am to 9pm.
- Lisa SAugust 16, 2019The staff takes your stuff if you are not aware. My friend and I both lost our favorite shawls and neither was found.
- Katie BrowerJuly 8, 2012Thought I got a great price on the room from priceline, only to get slapped with an additional $49 in parking and resort fees PER DAY. No thanks!
- Chris StasiakApril 26, 2012Parking and internet are additional charges. The funny part is each room has assigned parking. Really sad hidden charge!
- Marcela GutierrezFebruary 17, 2014after staying in this place..I can honestly say it feels tacky. The rooms are old and they need renovations. Even though we were aware parking was a fee, it seems silly to charge it. Its an okay stay.
- Eduardo OrtizJanuary 24, 2013I stayed here, for about 4 hours, due to being notified of a family-member's death. Checked out promptly. Got a call today "we have no record of you checking out early". Stay away, really.
- Joel SolomonJuly 22, 2011Get separate s'mores supplies at the market instead of the small kit. It's cheaper and you get more.
- Our bungalow is 5 feet from the beach, the service here has been spectacular!!
- Adrienne HeromDecember 9, 2012Be sure to bring warm pajamas in the winter because the heater doesn't work.
- Great lunches at the Barefoot Bar and Grill - everything was tasty!
- Definitely get a bayside room if you like a good view. Restaurants are pricey.
- John ROctober 13, 2013Probably best suited for those over 50. Too touristy (this is coming from a tourist). Bicycle rentals for $60 a day? Staff was pleasant but would not return.
- Jimmie ManningNovember 14, 2013They don't cut hair here anymore, despite what the website and promotional materials say. Plan ahead.
- Krista MeadowsDecember 15, 2012Do not stay in room 226. It flooded last night. Maintenance people said that room always floods. Why put people in it then when it is raining??
- Delilah BradleyOctober 12, 2010Bring ur walking shoes if u don't rent a car.....everything is soooo spread out.
- Stephanie Roy LattaOctober 14, 2012People are nice. Unfortunately the rooms are like lipstick on a pig...
- Jerry KasaiJune 8, 2012This place looks nice from the outside but is terrible once you're here. Dirty rooms, moldy bathrooms, additional fees for parking and print outs they give you when you check in. Avoid this resort.
- Jenna Rose RobbinsApril 1, 2010Beautiful property, but The rooms have thin walls, so ask for a room away from others, if possible.
