- Emily WilsonJuly 11, 2016The restaurant is dark and sleepy, with that classic NY pizza joint vibe. Margherita is the way to go, but if your group or your appetite is big, get a vodka pie too.
- Cole KennedyApril 14The perfect ideal of New York style pizza. Crispy, light, foldable, molten hot and massively flavorful. I could eat it every damn day.
- Mike Mahdavi NYC-LA-TEH-KISH * insta—> NYCPERSIANSFebruary 5, 2017You already know best pitZa in HARLEM NYC. One of my fave pitZa spots, take out side are like the pizza nazi though. Dine In everything is good. YOU MUST TRY IT ONE TIME.
- Serious EatsSeptember 6, 2013Their coal-fired slices are the missing link of pizza. The clear middle ground between the old world Neapolitan pies and the modern New York slice.
- Men's Health MagAugust 3, 2014While plenty of places offer cheap slices, Patsy’s offers some of the best in the country. Plus, because it’s just a hole-in-the-wall stop you can grab a slice on the quick. Read more

- Everything is delicious here!! The MOZARELLA sticks, fresh pasta (the fettuccine is to die for) and the tiramisu are some of my favourites. Get spoiled here, like Sinatra did!
- Stephanie ManwaringMarch 28, 2017The best cheese pizza in NYC IMO. Grab a slice from the window (not the sit down) and join everybody else on the curb talking about how good it is. Best and freshest tomato sauce!
- Buford BarnesMay 28, 2012Established 1933, continuously operated. One of the originators of New York style pizza and one of the few coal oven pizzerias in the city. Inspiration for a key scene of The Godfather.
- Almando PerezJanuary 28, 2016Pizza is very good. I was impressed, I didn't think it would be amazing and it was. Also, the chicken parm is very good.
- James Mark IIApril 8, 2017Best Pizza in NYC. Every trip I take there, I get a whole pie to share with my gf. Its thin and light, so a whole pie isnt as filling as you may think.
- CompassApril 25, 2014Time-tested recipes, addictive red sauce, and coal brick-baked pies have been the dishes du jour since the 1930s, when the legendary local pizza chain got its start at this very spot.

- Patsy's HARLEM is the best pizza on the island. Seasoned w/ filed unicorn horn dust & baked in a stone oven heated by dragon spit. Then they feed the unicorn-turned-horse the slices. And they love it!
- Adam KubanAugust 16, 2011Only one of two coal-oven places in NYC that sells by the slice (the other is Sac's in Astoria) -- over in the small take-out shop near the corner. I prefer the whole plain pie with regular mozzarella
- I think it's the best pizza in the whole city (and most classically "New York"). Maybe a tie w Louie and Ernie's.
- Harlem AmbassadorMarch 21, 2013The pizza is old world style. Then again, so are the portions in this supersized era, you'll craving more. The coal oven gives a smokey flavor to fresh slices. The nearby restaurant is an alternative.
- Men's Health MagAugust 3, 2014Piping-hot, paper-thin slices of crispy, coal-charred cheese pizza served at a no-frills Harlem storefront for only $1.75 each. Read more

- Martin RigbyJanuary 28, 2020Open with a caprese salad. If you were thinking of going to Grimaldi’s go here instead. (Or to Juliana’s if you are near Grimaldi’s already)
- Drita is always one of the most accommodating servers I've encountered in New York City. Good service paired with some of the best pizza around. Salute!
- Graham GnallNovember 10, 2018Stick with the coal original, even if getting several pies. It's incredible, cheap, and not too filling.
- Serious EatsAugust 19, 2011It's awesome. Go. Regular and fresh mozzarella are both good, and you can order pies or slices. Cash only. Read more

- This is the original Patsy's, unaffiliated with the rest in the city. Their coal oven pizzas are the closest to what I've had in Italy. Absolutely delicious.
- Nicole ChristieMay 29, 2010I can't even eat regular pizza anymore--Patsy's has spoiled me. The thin crust, the cheese, the sauce! So good you can eat a whole pie and not feel guilty. GO HERE! You will not regret it...
