Get a family pass; you'll love it! My kids & I have visited dozens of times over the last few months. They have a great children's play area on LL. Race dinos, slow motion sports, & play with robots!
If you buy a membership there are 'member only' times to get in before the general public. It's a great way to enjoy the exhibits without the crowds!! It is well worth the cost (which is reasonable)
this is the best I had ever been- and the variety it serves from Dinosaurs, Birds, Minerals, Engines, SCi-fi stuff, Discovering life- its hard to come out from one domain to other when you move on.
A must visit in Dallas, beautiful, creative architecture that reflects the land. Explore 4 floors of Interactive exhibits that intrigue the mind and inspire to learn and discover our world & universe.
The dinosaur exhibit was great and the brain games were fun to to. Spent a full day so much to do. Kids enjoyed making a building sturdy enough for a 9.0 earthquake.
I absolutely love this museum. The exhibits are stunning and interactive, with lots of relevant modern day applications. The dinosaur exhibit is my favorite, with the minerals a close second.
Amazing museum! Totally recommend it for anyone in town. Worth the visit for kids, adults and elders :) one can spend the whole day in here... Definitely coming back
The premier museum in Dallas, a must-visit and over five stories of science. Geared to be kid-friendly, they also host adult-only events on weekends. Rotating exhibits keep things fresh and engaging,
Both adults and kids love this place! Get your tickets online ahead of time, where you can select your entry time. Great little downtown activity, where you can walk to a lunch spot after exploring.
Easily one of the nicest, modern Natural History museums we've ever been to. Great gem and mineral collection, very informative energy learning area. Covers life sciences, ancient & modern. 🌎🏞️🔥❄️
Great interactive, fun for the entire family. Plenty of hands on exhibits. The staff is very knowledgeable. They roam each exhibit/floor and offer interesting facts. A must see if you are in Dallas
This was such a fun museum to go to! Be sure to come early so you can have enough time to go to each exhibit. The cafe food was surprisingly good and be sure to go to the sportsexhibit.
Water "park" at entrance is cool. Bring a swimsuit, clothes change, and towel for your kids. Moody ChildrensMuseum is great for kids <5. Get tix ahead of time and get there early to avoid long line.
Be sure to buy tickets online, and for an early time, as they let in groups by time. You can show up later, and walk right in, but if your ticket I'd for a later time, you have to wait in line!
Really fun but I'd definitely go during the week so you can actually enjoy the exhibits instead of tripping over strollers and some of the touchscreen things were broken (probably from the kids)
Teach kids about geology, outer space, and the environment while taking time to soak in the gorgeous modern architecture. Kids love playing with the neon frogs outdoor sculpture on sunny days.
Multiple visits definitely required.. I had only some energy left by the time I reached the 2nd floor (from top down). Love what they've done in every section.
Animals Inside Out Exhibit was FANTASTIC. Building was fantastic. Other than that this museum is mostly for children from 4 to 12ish. More of a science place instead of a museum.
Went on a weekday and it was mobbed with hundreds of kids (mostly younger) on field trips; most of the groups left around 2pm. Many of the interactive exhibits were broken. Still a cool place!
So much fun! Not only for the kids but adults as well. If you are. Bank of America card holder you can receive free admission the first weekend of every month. Check the website.
Get a membership! You'll be coming back more than once. Pay for parking inside. It's halo price for members. Book the "Members Only" entry time and beat the crowds!
The newly veiled Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Downtown Dallas is a high-energy, hands-on science museum with 5 floors of exhibits, 3D computer animation and life-like simulation.
Overall a great museum. Place is huge so be ready to walk. Bring your lunch or walk to El Fenix. Cafe is small, crowded and overpriced. Food is amusement park quality. Wear shorts it is hot here!
If you’ve ever been curious about anything…at all…then head to the Perot Museum. Here you’ll find all kinds of exhibits on dinosaurs, cadavers, robotics, sports and much more.
If you’re even remotely curious about the natural world, set aside a good five hours to wander through this interactive science museum that’s geared toward kids.
Members-only early hours on Saturdays and Sundays. Museum also has specials hours on holiday weekends. For current schedule visit http://www.perotmuseum.org/visit-the-museum/hours-admission.html
Anyone with the ability to rationally comprehend the information provided, could never leave this museum believing in Creationism. Intellectual honesty & examination of facts leads to the real truth!☺
Museum was very cool, but very crowded. LOTS OF CHILDREN, not really a museum for adults without kids. Lines were long, and it was difficult to read with people bumping and standing around.
Very kid centric. We had a city pass but still had to wait 30 minutes online which was a little ridiculous. It’s a very informational place with lots to do. It’s very “pro” oil/ natural gas.
An awe-inspiring destination for discovery, where visitors can explore 11 hands-on exhibit halls or experience3D films in The Hoglund Foundation Theater. For an additional fee, experience world-class traveling exhibitions, offering fresh, new content to the Museum year-round...
