Pete Clark: Apparently, this is the oldest Pizzeria in Ferrara; it has a fantastic, old wooden beam ceiling. Great food, service and atmosphere (and our local!).

James Clark: One of the largest green spaces in Ferrara for cycling or walking, pleasant lake too.Small play park for children with cafe nearby. Bacchelli swimming pool and CUS golf course adjacent.
Pete Clark: If you've visited the beach, its worth coming to see the pleasant enough town centre with Arch of Augustus and lovely (but small) Parco Alcide Cervi to the south.
Pete Clark: Not worth the extra drive from Ferrara with Ravenna's beach and all the Lidi to the north on offer. The beach is huge and, naturally, busy; lots of cafes - sea front feels very 80's though.

Lounge · 5 tips and reviews
Pete Clark: The poster prices on each entrance are NOT to sit in the lovely gallery but are for the naff little cafe inside - unfair and spoilt what could have been a good regular spot. Prefer Cafe Noir over road
Pete Clark: Outside seating; directly opposite the Castle. Attractive, modern air-conditioned interior area. Great spritz (and nibbles). Friendly service. No cover charge.
Pete Clark: Good for quick lunch but best to 'dine in' at the few tables, as well looked after. Owner is a real character with his recommendations from his superb selection of fresh produce, inc wine. A must!
Pete Clark: The Taster Menus (meat or vegitarian) are not hot at all but are tasty and fragrant - especially good if not eaten Indian before; if you have they will make the food hotter on request!
