Best breakfast we've found within 20mi of anywhere. The Bloody Marys are top notch and the skillets are epic. ProTip: start with the breakfast tacos as an appetizer!

You could say this place is specifically catering to Brooklyn hipsters on holiday, but - damnit - hipsters know how to brunch. Serves typical diner fare with a locally sourced lean. Not to be missed.

This is potentially the best diner I've ever been to. Definitely get fries and if chicken chili is on the menu, combine them...the kitchen won't do it in the back, but best chili cheese fries ever

A favorite with locals and visitors to Hunter mountain. Phoenicia has friendly service with classic diner menu filled with seasonal and local ingredients. The pan fried trout is one of my favorites.

A real keeper. On Route 28 just south of Phoenicia, NY. Another stop on the two lane to Cooperstown. Everything is very fresh. Hardly a dinner menu. Meatloaf lunch is plentiful and delish!

The Bloody Mary is fantastic! It's made with a local vodka, which makes it taste better just because...

Quintessential brunch spot in the Catskills. Excellent Bloody Mary. Gets crowded but service is fast. Great for people watching.

They are weird about letting you take food to go. Only can be done w/ certain items. Apparently their hot food will "melt" the container? Anyway, food is good. Try the sandwiches or watermelon salad.

It is all good here, but you can't beat the wild hive polenta skillet, topped with two perfect poached eggs. A homemade Bloody Mary with local vodka doesn't hurt either.

Everything is delicious. Kid friendly, bourbon shakes, and incredible food. Reuben was excellent, pancakes were a dream, and the kale salad was fabulous.

No Bloody Marys served 'till noon, but when the clock strikes, hoo-doggy they are good. Miglorelli Farm Tomato Juice + Catskills Peace Vodka + some weird root thing = $8!

The bloody Mary is amazing. The biscuits and gravy are amazing. The cell service on t-mobile is nonexistent and I'm pretty sure the free WiFi is a farse, but that's OK, pay attention to your friends

The breakfast tacos were everything I've dreamed of and more. Best Mexican breakfast fusion outside of California.

Usually a wait but the bar scene compensates. For food, all of the skillets are great, especially the one with duck. Order a side of mac n cheese.

If you want to avoid major crowds, go early in the morning or later in the afternoon. Avoid Sunday all together if possible - however, the food is well worth the wait. I love the omelets and skillets!

The food comes out quick like a typical diner but the quality and taste is way better weather you’re having breakfast or lunch! The crispy chix sammie is delicious but way too big for 1 person..share!

Fuel up for a day upstate by stopping by the Phoenicia Diner, a landmark eatery serving “farm-to-counter” diner-style food, just off Route 28, otherwise known as the Catskill Mountains Scenic Byway. Read more

Amazing! I hear there's always a crowd but ended up not having to wait too long for a counter seat. Chicken and waffles was some of the best I've tasted.
