Drinks are crazy cheap during the weekend happy hour. Great vibes. Rock concerts in to back, if you're into that.

Pianos is always a staple for a fun random night out in the LES. Great drinks and FIRE music. Gets packed on weekend evenings. Left after 1am and still packed

Best LES spot for music lovers that like drinking Pabst Blue Ribbon cans for under $5 a pop. Having both in one spot - winning! A true NYC gem.

20th Anniversary reunion tour for Verb. Old school little music venue. Affordable cover and dj spinning in the other room makes for a fun and lively Saturday night.
  • Lower East Side Partnership
This bi-level bar is located in the heart of the LES. Locals line up most nights to scope out the live music and sweet dance floor. Come with your friends, leave with new ones.

Exactly the sort of upmarket dive bar you’d expect to find in NY. Perfect for late night drinks

Single, hot hipster chicks. Single, hot hipster chicks dancing like mad in confined, packed spaces. What happens at Pianos... generally moves to your apartment. So wash your sheets before going out. Read more

Sit (or dance) downstairs for good drinks and yummy burgers or head upstairs ($5 cover) and hear the newest indie rock band perform.

Support the local bands that play in the back bar. Shows are usually around $10 and they're always worth it, at least to meet new people and hear something new.

CMJ hosts shows in this former piano store every year. You can relax in the bar with a burger after attending the two stages. Just be careful with the ketchup if you haven't fully calmed down.

1 out of 10 is a fantastic concert. Still worth the visit. You can see and listen to the act before paying entrance, through a window. That helps when making a decision.

In addition to fresh new music coming out of the main room, Piano's often has more stripped-down acts perform upstairs. Also, the burgers are pretty darn good.
