- Donna SFebruary 1, 2014Amazing gluten-free pizza and brownies! A large selection of pizzas to choose from and a great selection of beer. The owner and staff are super friendly. A cozy, relaxing atmosphere to dine.
- Michael G.May 5, 2018Excellent establishment with a big selection of board games. White pizza with garlicky spinach and bacon with scallions were the two best. I had like 9 different ones, so my sample size is good.
- The Pie-fi network password is piepiepie1. And note that the first table to the right of the long table in the back area has tons of outlets in the corner, but are only viewable once you've sat there.
- Mark BNovember 13, 2018Great thin crust pizza. Best part is you tell them how large, or small, of a slice you want. Large assortment of pies to choose from, all very good!
- HashtagNYUApril 14, 2017Delicious thin crust pizza with vegan and gluten free options so everyone can join in on the cheesy goodness. Sold by the pie, so a great place for sharing.
- StephanieAugust 2, 2017I had a sampler and everything was delicious! Love that they have GF options.
- Valerie SecklerAugust 22, 2011Pizza by the inch with a variety of fresh toppings makes for good snacking at Pie, where it takes many inches to make a meal. Stacks of board games amid Pie's digital denizens add a touch of whimsy.
- susan billingsleyOctober 17, 2014FYI - This address is out of date! Pie by the Pound's current location is on 4th Ave between 12th & 13th. They're just South of Union Square. So, so good!
- Howard LookApril 6, 2018Gluten free pie was very good - firm crust but not crunchy, great sauce and toppings but skimpy on the cheese. House salad was mediocre at best. Staff is super friendly.
- Will WeaverNovember 5, 2013Gluten free pizza. It's not the best I've ever had (that honor goes to Frank's back home in Richmond, VA), but it's pretty good.
- Fritz WestmanJanuary 9, 2013I love this place. Super friendly people who work here (Twee is great) and amazing GF pizza with GF beer too!
- Geoffrey B.February 18, 2011Gluten free pizza is good, but its not truly 100% GF. They make it in the same space as the regular pizzas so some flour undoubtedly gets on it. Still, I eat it w/o issue. Depends on your sensitivity
- RoseOctober 9, 2013Yes, they have pies. They are amazing! Thumbs up for the coffee too. Free wifi, just ask them.
- Frank RimalovskiJune 23, 2012Very good long rectangular thin crust pizza served by the pound. Reminds me of what the pizza looked like on the Flintstones! (3 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
- Rommy NalonJuly 17, 2013Ok the gluten-free pizzas are very good, BUT they have A LOT of different good gluten-free beers too! Cheers! ;)
- Village VoiceAugust 15, 2014Selections range from doctrinaire to off-the-wall, including one embedded with sunny-side-up eggs. Read more
- Dan EntinApril 24, 2014They have a ton of board games including a bunch of Jenga sets. Super kid-friendly.
- Ernest BarteldesMarch 10, 2013Just love the fact that you can choose how much you want... And their prices are also very affordable
- AmateurConciergeJune 20, 2015A cool concept: like the Romans they sell you pizza by weight, not slice. Unfortunately the crust isn't where it needs to be and is soggy by EOD. Don't order too little, their pricing will make it $
- Fabian GorslerMarch 29, 2013Make sure the guy (Michael) slices your slices..his are the biggest and make the price bearable. Otherwise refrain from coming here....
- Don't be discouraged by the prices or size of the pizza! Try the Fresh Mozzarella pizza!
- Sys EApril 10, 2012$2.50 beers, free wifi and friendly staff - great place to hang out, even if you don't want pizza.
- Caroline Van JonesOctober 24, 2012Love this place!! Very tasty, fresh, thin crust gluten free pizza yum
- delivery.comJune 26, 2012Delivery.com's favorite place to order in thin-crust pizza for lunch!
http://www.delivery.com/menu/Pie_by_the_Pound - Carmen KMay 2, 2012The two vegan pizzas are cheeseless and delicious! Just be aware, you'll be paying ~$6 a plate.
- Jim MeskauskasJuly 5, 2011Absolutely delicious. Crust is super thin and crispy. Can't go wrong with basic pepperoni and cheese.
- LokiSeptember 8, 2013Vegan pie but crust contains eggs?! Lol. Uhhh, then it's not vegan. Putting a notice on the menu still doesn't make it vegan- sheesh
- Vivian NguyenJanuary 20, 2015Fairly pricey, and thin crusted pizza. It is tasty, but will run your pockets
- Cindy PhillipsApril 18, 2012This is a great place to go if you want to spend $9 on pizza and leave STARVING. Bland, served lukewarm. Good wifi. I guess it's good if you want gluten-free.
- Gluten free pie - half potato half snow white - delicious!
- The pizza with the fresh pieces of mozzarella, tomato, and garlic is great. Happy hour provides cheap cheap beer.
- best pizza this side of town, esp if you're going to Webster hall, its right around the corner.
- Josh PerryOctober 2, 2011Doesn't make any sense - gluten-free pizza, yet every person in this place is drinking beer that contains gluten.
