The breakfast sandwich is a unique gem in a city full of excellent breakfast sandwiches. Churros and beef empanadas are top notch. Hard to go wrong here, really.

Veggie plate is vegan / vegetarian and includes black beans, rice, sweet plantains, fried yuca, tomato, and avocado. It's heaven. The air conditioning is pretty stellar as well.
Th hippest place in bed-stuy. Chill and cozy, nice drinks (white sangria) and great food! Never get tired of hanging here try different drinks and food.

Get the roast pork with rice beans and to stones, and then a nice Cuban coffee to seal the meal. My fiancé is Cuban and loves this place to get his fix of Cuban food

Informal and small eatery serving up the best Pressed Cuban Sandwiches and Pernil - also try the Elena Ruth and finish it off with a slice of Key Lime Pie.
Seafood risotto was delicious but too small to share. We happily ordered a carafe of the Malbec. A typical bottle is 4.5 glasses, but the carafe is closer to 5.5. Shrimp entree is super garlic-y.
These tostones were okay. For entree I had some good ropa vieja. My tinto de verano sangria wasn’t the best. They can definitely improve in service. Having just two girls for many tables isn’t good.
Must try: crack grilled cheese sandwich and the potato leek croquettes are the best! Ricardo's soups are the besssssst! Paella on Friday is amazing!!!!

NOT CHEAP, I repeat, not cheap. But if you can swing it: grilled shrimp and grilled cheese sandwiches are where it's at. Sangria did not have alcohol in it.
