The sangria was the best sangria I ever drank in my life. Ceviche is a must, try the mixto. We ordered the Matador Combo and it easily fed 4 people. Service is excellent. Venue is a bit too loud.

Juiciest $9.50 lunch (M-F 11-4pm) & best rotisserie chicken in NYC: 1/4 (white or dark meat) chicken w/ avocado tomato salad, a soda, & side (rice & beans, tostones, or fries). Ask 4 green sauce!

Great service and delicious, authentic food. App: Palta Rellena. Main: Arroz Chaufa, Camarones Cuzco or Lomo Saltado. Drink: Red Sangria, trust me! This location is a bit fancier than the others.

Juanita's chicken was a 10! The place is open, well conditioned, and great for groups! Everything we ordered was delicious from the calamari to the papas. I left the place happy and full :-)

First time trying Peruvian and it was AMAZING! Camarones cuzco (pictured) was soo delicious. Also, try the rotisserie chicken (sharable) with veggie sides and casava.

Very friendly service and great atmosphere, too. The chicken empanadas and arroz chaufa were absolutely delicious and desert was so good, too. Loved it here!

This place is great! Delicious chicken - I had the shredded chicken with a Peruvian yellow sauce. Get the soft plantains as the side - they will rock your world. 👌🏻

The ceviches here are too good! Mixto is great. But I have to say their paellas are one of the best ones that I've ever had. A definite order.

The Matador lunch combo is so worth it. Peruvian chicken (you can request white or dark meat) + salad + rice and beans + a beverage is the way to go. And their Peruvian Chinese fried rice is great too

Casual Peruvian dining at its best. The grilled chicken was succulent and can make on its own. It will be a sacrilege to put any sauce on it! Yum!

Succulent, fall-off-the-bone rotisserie roasted chicken is what they're known for, but their Japanese fusion-style cebiche "Nikkei" was surprisingly yummy!

Delicious food. I've had a bunch of Peruvian food and this is among the best. The appetizer sampler is a good selection to try as much as possible, if it's your first time.

Their avocado starter as well as the beef heart skewers were great, and for the main course the fillet mignon was awesome.

Sangria was good. My original got served in a dirty pitcher. The calamari was crispy and delicious. The verse sauce went well with that spicy mayo.#eatpiopio

Matador Combo... te mata! The chicken is awesome. Tender & juicy. My kids devoured it, we loved it. Cebiche was delish either. Great Peruvian wine, Dulce de Leche to finish. Great night! !!

Best Peruvian in NYC. Novo andino dishes like goat-cheese qinotto and inventive sushi criollo; superb pisco cocktails; and fantastic down-home favorites like arroz chifa and pollo a la brasa.

Do it. I bring out-of-towners here to give them some authenticity in the middle of midtown. Chicken can't be beat, some yucca, some green sauce, you're all set.

You can share the matador combo with 4 people. Get an appetizer on the side, like cerviche or calamari and you're in pio pio heaven. P.S. Get a pitcher of Sangria.

These pisco sours are incredible. Ordered the matador combo for the second time, so good! And plenty of food for three at least.
