Press club is perfect for a wide variety of occasions and can easily host larger groups. The staff is great and I haven't been disappointed in any of the wines.
The stuffed squash blossoms are perfection on a plate for the true foodie. Sweet fig, saltiness of olive, creaminess of corn panacotta, tangygoat cheese. European wine flight with it = happy me.
They now offer a selection of rare high-end wines by the glass. This is their Coravin selection, named after the device used to keep wine fresh in a large-format bottle after opening.
If you’re looking for a happy hour spot with a great collection, this is the spot. Be warned, everyone else thinks it is too, so get ready for a lively crowd.
Don't feel bad if you're not a wino. Staff is friendly and incredibly helpful. Tell them what you like, or have them just pour you something incredible.
Great place to grab a glass of wine after a conference at Moscone. No cell reception downstairs, but they have WiFi. Just ask for the password and you're set to tweet and check-in! - Karen Hartline
Great spot to have a large social gathering. Didn't have to make reservations on a Saturday and had over 20 friends show up, get in and have some nice wine!
The mouthwatering small plate pairings at the Press Club make the spectacular wines even more so (we're thinking Applewood bacon-wrapped shrimp, fresh oysters and Provençal olives).
nice place to try and pretend that you're more sophisticated than you are. Try one of the wine flights, but don't chug it because people will look at you funny :(
Upscale interior. Thirty-something, sophisticated crowd. Delicately sweet white wine called Swanson, Pinot Grigio (Lychee, meyer lemon, and white flowers).
