- EaterApril 18, 2013The single most essential Boston restaurant of the moment, in that here chef-owner Will Gilson is more thoroughly tackling a fresh perspective on New England cuisine than anywhere else in the world.Upvoted Oct 6
- Noah WeissDecember 14, 2015Come for the pastry basket, $10 for 4 delicious items like a chocolate pretzel croissant, stay for the brunch like the corned beef hash. Great, airy vibe with reservations too.
- Jamie LinAugust 28, 2016Came here for Restaurant Week & what a treat! Cocktails are fantastic, and food is both delicious and beautiful. Come very hungry, though! (Or just have less than 4 courses.)
- Geoffroy BablonNovember 9, 2014The flat iron steak is perfectly juicy, a little spicy, and filling. The potatoes and broccoli make a great accompaniment. Desserts are tasty too, and service is surprisingly fast.
- Outstanding fresh global takes on New England originals - go for the lamb t-bone, orrichiette, charred octopus and outstanding wine list.
- Dan RobertsJuly 5, 2016My favorite restaurant in Cambridge. The small plates are the best. Get the swordfish pastrami with mustard ice cream. The potato bread is addicting, we usually get upwards of three rounds ...
- Alicia KosasihNovember 5, 2014Positively one of the best restaurants at Cambridge! Very timely service and food is flavorful & rich all at once. My favorite will be the egg with mushrooms - Eat it once it's served. Heaven. 👍😛
- We love this place for weekend apps: a beer and basket of pastries at the bar. Then go to another spot nearby (Tupelo maybe?) for entrees. The key to expert-level brunching is multiple stops.
- Monia BodenmuellerMarch 4, 2014I loved Puritan!! The food is great, atmosphere is excellent and the service was also so nice. You should try the desert with pop corn and corn Ice Cream very creative and delicious.
- Premshree PillaiMay 14, 2013Sit at the chef's table and enjoy one of the better dining options in Inman Square. Food is prepared with love and care. Ask for wine suggestions to pair your food with.
- Stephen JoffeJune 15, 2013The layers of flavor in every dish were amazing! Tried many dishes.... Great sparkling Brut Rose that went with everything. Great waitress....
- Colin ReedNovember 14, 2015This rivals even the best of New York City restaurants. Absolutely fantastic, from decor and service to menu design and wine list (and especially the food).

- Joseph SmarrOctober 5, 2014Order the "big man" cocktail. It's off-menu but a favorite of the bartenders (a fun take on the Manhattan)
- Derek WilsonJune 29, 2013Farmers Cheese with pickled veg and pumpernickel toast drizzed with honey and chive was amazing simple and delicious.
- Cocktail and bar menu has great options for a quick meal or step up and go big for dinner!
- The buns are so delicious!! Nearly everything is made in house. Go there if you want expensive, delicious food with a fancy presentation.
- C HollandAugust 2, 2015What's good here? The conversations you'll have with your servers about the food you'll love eating and the wine you'll love drinking.
- BriannaFebruary 17, 2017Go on a Thursday between 9-10pm and get a free pizza with the purchase of an adult beverage! 🍕
- Stellar food and service. One of my new fave spots. Try the clam chowder! And ohhhh the rolls are to die for.
- Swordfish Pastrami, Octopus, Burrata. Excellent cocktail program and friendly bartenders.
- Eric AndersenAugust 2, 2018Awesome how the bar lights have outlets and a light switch — which is a dimmer!
- The chocolate brownie sundae plus dessert wine is the way to finish strong!
- Andrea FalconeSeptember 12, 2015Chef's tasting menu was well worth the $70. Chilled beet soup was the best!
- Make sure to ask for the hot potato rolls - best bread course in Cambridge.
- Maria SarychevaOctober 12, 2013Chef's counter near the kitchen is great fun! You can watch food being prepared)
- Philippe SchenkFebruary 6, 2013Try the lamb (if you like lamb) it's perfectly cooked and so nicely prepared.
- Vanessa GatlinMarch 9, 2014(Best of Boston 2013-CAMBRIDGE: INMAN SQUARE) Improper Bostonian says," Chef Will Gilson's first solo project is a lesson in heritage."

- Joseph and LeoMay 6, 2016Bread is good, but takes long to get food. Also not very great for children.
