Hakeem BilalDecember 30, 2016Petworth gem! They roast their own coffee on site and the baristas are efficient in this small shop on Georgia Ave. Drip coffee sometimes leaves more to be desired but the pour overs are worth it!

And their staff are super helpful and open about their food and drink.- Serves a selection of micro-roasted coffees and yummy scones. Stick with hot coffee; the iced is cold brew only and it's sold at an unjustified premium.
Strict about laptop policies, know b4 going to do work. Get coffees as pour over when described as a spice or intense fruit flavor e.g. clove or blueberry. They really do have that taste, no joke!
Soy decaf latte hits the spot. Also, check out the sitting area in the back. A small piece of paradise on Georgia Avenue.
Lamar McClainApril 19, 2017Extremely knowledgeable staff on coffee roasts and a great selection of fair trade coffees. A bit cramped but the coffee more than makes up for it.
The coffee is great, of course, but I could eat nothing but the salty oat cookies for the rest of my life and be very happy.

Buy a bag of freshly roasted coffee ($10). Ask Joel about the difference between a City + and a Full City roast.
- Drink a hand poured African coffee. Ask Joel about the roast.
Get a cold brewed iced coffee. Amazing, and one of the only coffee shops in the city that makes it this way.
