Modern take on Indian cuisine and the best Indian food in the area. Reservations are a must and it is not a cheaprestaurant! Start with the crispy spinach dish as an appetizer...you won't regret it
Wow....yea it MIGHT be the best Indian in the US. The fish in banana leaf was amazing, like an Indian miso glaze, and only $12! Got out with 3 apps for $35 and they were all fantastic. So good
One of the toughest reservations in town is a table at one of the best Indian restaurants in the country. They also like to incorporate other ingredients like asparagus and duck into their dishes. Read more
Best Indian food in the US. Out of all the amazing standouts we had, the spinach and lentil dishes were truly memorable. Our waiter Victor made it an experience we would love to repeat soon.
I loved the palak chaat (crispy spinach) it's just the right amount of spicy and crunchy. I also love the chicken tikka masala, it's perfectly spicy and the sauce is creamy and flavorful
Come here to have a first class dining experience with superb service and exquisitely prepared dishes like Palak Chaat, Green PeasSamosa, TandooriLamb Chops and Hyderabadi LambBiryani.
Crispybaby spinach salad Beyond delicious what I call Indian to die for 9ra7ah! food, service, decorations in general incredible👌 plus if there's a room for dessert their date toffee cake is a must😴
The best Indian restaurant in the entire United States! And trust me I have been to quite a few across the States...this is hands down the best. Everything on the menu is sublime!
Expensive but lovely. The interior design includes carved wood awnings by floor to ceiling windows and soft green leather benches. A raised private dining area is separated by a gleaming brass rail.
On a recent visit, I feasted on a Keralan-style fish curry—utterly delicious. Be sure to order the naan. It’s made to order so it comes to the table piping hot. Read more
The coconut/caramel/jaggery pancakes were pretty, but so underwhelming. The AYCDBloody Mary with fresh green Kandari/chilis, was delish...and if you can't decide, you can switch btwn Bloodys/Mimosas.
11-Feb: visited with Lauren C. Tried the samosas (slightly spicy!), lambbiryani, and onion & sagenaan. Would definitely go back! Loved the Sania (bourbon based) cocktail as well.
the cod was good but I don't recommend it since there are many more authentic Indian options here that are so goooooood. the curries and korma! amaziiiing. best Indian food in DC!
Upscale Indian that's amazing. Get the cauliflower if you like spicy. Fish dishes are great too - cod or grouper are best. And the chicken tikka masala is perfect.
Best Indian in DC. Dishes you love with slightly more complex palates and the palak chat really is something that must be tried here. Verdict: the hype is real.
Good food and service, crowded which gives assurance that food is fresh. Food portion is small. Good wine and atmosphere. They have the best dry spinach starter.
The crispy spinach is fantastic. Note that many, if not most of the entrees don't come with rice or bread. I recommend the bread bowl, it comes with both roti and naan.
