- JohnJune 1, 2018Beautiful place to watch live music outside in downtown Raleigh. Even the Amtrak train likes the bands, cheering with its horn for every band before it arrives in Raleigh.Upvoted 1 day ago
- Paul PapadouliasJuly 15, 2014Seating is easily accessible. Bathrooms on both sides of the stage. Ample beverage & food vendors but be prepared to get ripped off. $10 for a tall boy PBR, Bud Light, or a cup of craft beer.
- Robin WerlingJuly 29, 2013I love the concerts I have enjoyed at the Red Hat Amphitheater this summer. The outside venue adds to the experience as well as catching local bands before and after the show at Deep South The Bar.
- Great Bands, Great Music, Great location. B+ beer /drink selections. Food is C+ for a venue. The only bad is the off duty cop / TSA vibe this place seeks for security, which has 0% mix with rock.
- Karen ZJune 7, 2019Ladies bathroom - the line to the far right one gets long but there is another to the left behind the drinks
- Joe WoodJune 7, 2014Best small venue in NC. Great place to see bands likewise Trdeschi/Trucks or Widespread Panic. Beautiful downtown venue.
- Chris SmithJune 27, 2017Cool venue with a good view of Raleigh, though the acoustics could be better...
- The News & ObserverJune 29, 2012This 5,600-capacity venue opened its first full season in early 2010. Enjoy the outdoor concerts and all the entertainment that Downtown Raleigh has to offer! Read more
- Tim HackettSeptember 27, 2015Great venue. Ample parking and lots of police to keep it safe and keep everyone moving in and out of the show.
- Joe SchwartzSeptember 22, 2021Phoebe Bridgers slayed. Great venue. Also loved seeing the Decemberists here
- AJ JohnsonJuly 21, 2014Great atmosphere for a concert in the heart of the city. No umbrellas allowed. Hats will be useful
- VH1July 22, 2010Enjoy some tasty comfort food at Poole’s Downtown Diner down the road from the Raleigh Amphitheater. They have the BEST mac-n-cheese around. – Team Live Nation
- wayne juddAugust 8, 2012White Collar Crime is a block away and is always busy after a show. Cheap drinks and good times!!
- The most cheaply put together venue I've ever been to. Great location though, and at least they sell decent beer for $10 a cup.
- Kittie MJune 7, 2014Been here a few times. $10 for 24 oz cans and food is very limited: popcorn, hot dogs.
- PepsiJuly 1, 2011Classic outdoor music venue with the quintessential summer line-up. Dance the night away!
- Amanda PoolerJuly 14, 2014Those bitchin about expensive beers.....drink b4 jerks, its an ampitheatre thats how it is! This place is AWESOME!
- Hoppyum IPA on tap pretty great but seriously - $10?! Who can afford these prices?
- Janet KennedyJuly 22, 2011Fun venue but don't try to watch from the top of the parking deck. The cops will bust you! Read more
- Kelly Diard ITB LivingSeptember 22, 2012If you can get in the double- letter seats, DO! Well worth it!
- Grab something to eat before you get here. The food costs an arm and a leg and there's not much variety.
- Chris DMay 9, 2013$20 for 2 beers. Better off getting drunk before the show at any of the local bars
- Brenden HanesJune 17, 2018We were told when we arrived that chairs were no longer allowed in the lawn section, a decision they made the day of the show with no communication of any kind sent out. Go to another venue! 👎🏻👎🏻
- Hit up Draft before the concert! They're opening at 4pm just for all the O.A.R. fans!
- Matt KlawiterJanuary 29, 2011Park just up the street for free parking if you leave after 7! Just go 3 blocks north.
