Réka Manon: No, it is not a poshy old patisserie, but a secessian place full of young people (consider to wait for free table) Service is quick, food good.

Réka Manon: Even it is crowded there are enough space. Best choice if you want eat Turkish food that doesn't steal your money in the historical centre.

Réka Manon: Contemporary art with actual topics.. Nice staff.. And the rooftop of course.

Réka Manon: Here are the most beautiful ceramic decorations on the wall! Amazing, the whole interior is in blue Kütahya style!

Réka Manon: Is is closed right now because of renovation. Read the Stars of Eger written by Geza Gardonyi, a capture of the story is set here!

Réka Manon: It is always very crowded, especially at night or because of protests. The cute old tram starts from here.

Réka Manon: Unfortunately it is closed on sunday. Anyway, nice building. Obligatory for football fans!

Réka Manon: Very-very nice building with a lot of light through the glassy roof, just as the covered piazzas in Italy!

Réka Manon: It is one of the most ancient hans in the city, that still gives place to craftsmen. And of course the top.. ;)

Réka Manon: Unique! Some of the vendors invite for a cay and to have q seat after buying something great (eg. carpets)

Réka Manon: The card game "bridge" got its name of the Köprü, it was the game that English soldiers used to play here while drinking raki and cay after another.

Réka Manon: Simetimes a fresh simit or a hot tea can save lifes, after arriving a long bus-journey in the storm. They have sweet pastries and sandwich too, sugar and lemon for thw tea are self service.

Réka Manon: It is soo amazing that they let in food from outside, everybody is coming here with own food just for a cay and for the view. Big families, dating couples, lonesome artists and friends all together!

Réka Manon: Letting behind the European side here is everything much lively, people, cars, crowding on the street, mosques and simit sellers, metro and buses. Lovely antagonism 💕

Réka Manon: Take a walk first among the traditional houses of the districs, then sit down here, feet in the water, good place for "just be present"

Réka Manon: However it is an interesting ancient place, it is still not visitable. It is very a pity.

Réka Manon: L-shaped traditional bazaar, it is inspiring to see the colourful spices and inhale their smell. But rather buy them in supermarkets for half of the price.

Réka Manon: Künefe, I'll miss you! Very delicios, hot and the cheese is melting softly.. Yumm!

Réka Manon: It is really a wonder how that amazing mosaics have survived centuries! The church is under renovation, only partly visiting is possible, entrance fee 15 Tl.

Réka Manon: Hidden small little place behind the Fish market in Üsküdar, with very kind hosts. Fishes are fresh, balik ekmek is legen..dary!! Hope to come here next time!

Réka Manon: Everything is here nice! On the walls there are notices from Turkish artists and other guests, just ask for a pen. Good turkish coffee and outside places too.

Réka Manon: In the great old times if was easier to reach the shore, nowadays there's only a couple of underpass. Take some ciğ köfte to the shore, it is also a great place for picnic.

Réka Manon: The spinach borek runs out first, but the popatoe and cheese filled are also good! Good prices but no toilet.

Réka Manon: Don't enter there - let the others there to enjoy a tea and the tranquility.

Réka Manon: Begins with jewellry, then art shops lead to the tea terrace. Ground is decirated with colourful glass beads.

Réka Manon: A small, living-room like gallery with articraft jewellery, paintings, etc. Walk around and enjoy the melidistic music too.

Réka Manon: Hidden treasure, walk with eyes wide open on the Istiklal Caddesi!

Réka Manon: Art is provided for everyone without fees, sometimes the artists are also present. @Cetin Acar

Réka Manon: It is a nice narrow street up to the Galata. There are design shops, nice and friendly cafés and vegan places too. It is boho and cool.

Réka Manon: It is a complex designed by Mimar Sinan, that contains a cami, a turbe, a small cemetery garden and there used to be a hamam too. It is beautiful!

Réka Manon: Sie sprechen sehr gut Deutsch, das Atmosphäre ist auch sehr freundlich. Es gibt Wasserautomat auch.

Réka Manon: Nice station.

Réka Manon: The length of the quie is not a coincidence, it shows how good their fishes are ;-)

Réka Manon: Super turkish food, the best deal is to take a self service plate of different creams (hummus, eggplant with yoghurt) and they serve fine bread to it.

Réka Manon: Portions are quite small but taste good (mercimek corbasi). There's always a desk showing the menü of the day.

Réka Manon: Turkish cay and pogaca are the best combination for a breakfast. Great variety of böreks too!

Réka Manon: Campus is a small town at the side of the city. All services are provided too, with a nice garden full of roses.

Réka Manon: Long-long corridor but there's an automatic pavement. Nice interior, quite quiet and Havatas shuttle bus to the centre.
