My #1 fave Salmon (grilled on top of curried rice) dish in NYC..timeless & consistent...even after 18+ yrs, I still crave it! I also love their curried chicken broth noodles & eggplant appetizer.

This has become a Union Square mainstay for me, when looking for a cheap happy hour or a quick bite. $5 appetizers from 4-7 Mon-Fri and noodle portions are huge!

The seafood pad thai is delicious and the frozen lychee martini is a bit too sweet but really yummy. Dishes are really big, I usually get 2 lunches out of them.

Their dinner set is one of their best deals. I couldn't stop eating the pork from their vermicelli noodles since they were so nicely charred and tender.

The fried calamari is real good. The green papaya salad is light and refreshing. They no longer serve the spicy duck, so my go to now is the spicy coconut chicken.

This place has been around forever. The spicy coconut chicken, the pad Thai and the salmon are all excellent - solid cocktails as well. You can't go wrong with just about anything on the menu.

My go-to work lunch place around union square. There's always room, it's quick, and it's delicious. The noise can be a little much if you need to seriously be talking, but otherwise a solid place.

Large space a tad on the pricey side and cold! Brrrr. Benches are attached to the floor 😕. Can't go wrong with the lime chicken soup, Pad Thai or soup dumplings!

Matcha collada! Need to open up a take out window for these beauties. Matcha and coconut milk, divine. Also gluten free menu available.

Contrary to what the signage and placemats may say this place is actually a monarchy. Decision making is embodied by a single ruling individual or in other words a boss. Some say its for tax reasons.

The Pad Thai (with Shrimp & Calamari) is amazing! Don't be scared to use your chopsticks. Add a Ginger Margarita to your order! First timer of Thai food! A+++

Happy hour drinks are not watered down. Execellent service and very friendly staff. Everything I had was great. Dumplings, wonton, pad thai, papaya salad, spicy coconut broth noodles. Def recommend.

Don't know if anything else here is good, but I dream about the Spicy Beef Noodle soup. Full of so much flavor! Similar to bun bo hue—I've not found anything else like it in the city.

I don't get the mixed reviews for this place. Service was great, food was delicious, price was right, and communal ambiance was nice. Papaya salad and spicy beef noodles hit the spot.

My favorite childhood noodle spot. Luckily only the prices have changed and not the quality or the service. One of the only quality NY places left in the culinary wasteland that is union square.

One of my favorite places in the area. Love their salmon sashimi! & their crispy tofu! & the grilled eggplants... &... (I could go on). Eat outside, @ the bar or take the window seat 4 ppl watching.

It ain't gourmet, but it is pretty tasty. The portions are large enough that you'll have enough for lunch the next day as well. The happy hour is pretty good, especially the 1/2 price cocktails.

Though this joint is famous for its noodles, we say go for the grilled pork chops. They're sliced razor thin, flame grilled and coated with a thin sweet sauce and presented with all the trimmings.

Food was exotic but tastes good. The interior is simple but lovely. Stuff — no buts — lovely! And prices are good. Enjoyed it a lot.

Best quick cheap joint on union square. If you are gluten free ask for the special menu. If you want more spice ask for hot sauce.

I got the Lime Chicken noodles which was a bit too sour for my taste - overall tasted similar to pho. also huge portions. Skewers and tofu appetizers were pretty good.

The noodle bowls are big enough split between two, and coconut tapioca dessert is really interesting!

I'm not sure what's in the frozen sangria, but have two of them and you have a nice buzz going on. Food wise, the BBQ Pork dish is fantastic.

Deceptively large. The spicy coconut chicken broth bowl was tasty- though the chicken was a little rubbery. Happy hour every day 3-7!

The Spicy Beef is not that spicy and delicious! Also, they have amazing mojitos that are around $8 during Happy Hour. Definitely worth it!

The food is really good and the portions are massive, but the hostess made me get up and move halfway through my meal, and they didn't even comp my tea or anything.

Good place for a quick, decent meal. A wealth of options: the sauteed beef salad is good. The acoustics inside are terrible; a seat outside -- in the din of Union Square -- is ironically better.

Really great place. The price/portion ratio is near-perfect, and there's plenty of table & bar room. They serve Asian cuisine of all sorts, from some curry dishes to Pad Thai. ***

Great noodles. Yummy drinks. A little bit noisy. Oh and they have long tables so you might be seated with strangers at the same table.

The warm sake comes in two sizes, the large is great to share with a friend or two, especially on a cold day.
