- SheldonAugust 7, 2014Food was excellent, the 2 CREEMORE beer I had were SMOOTH as SILK & the Jazz band played SWEET SWEET JAZZ !!! Our server was AMAZING !!! She was so efficient, attentive & very friendly to our party
- Basic, but decent and clean rooms, friendly staff and a great breakfast. Some decent craft beer on, too. Don't expect an early night though, the jazz goes on 'til late!
- John MathesonMarch 8, 2013If you like jazz/blues, and if you are from anywhere, you should make a point to go to the Rex. The acts there are consistently first rate, the beer is cold, and the food is well-prepared.
- MarvinAugust 29, 2017Grab a beer, sit by the bar and listen meet some great people pre-show by the bar. Great avenue to meet fellow jazz peeps 🎺
- Danielle BohyOctober 20, 2014Awesome music. Great vibe. The Chili and Cheese is only ok. Definitely check this spot out if you like jazz or blues.
- Terri LahlouSeptember 24, 2019First time here and won’t be the last. A local man we met recommended this place to us. The band the night we went amazing
- Great food, great music and the hotel upstairs is clean and cozy! If you're staying at the hotel, you'll get a free toasts for breakfast too!
- Sofia UzMay 28, 2015Perfect for all you jazz lovers out there! Great setting, bar serves beer, drinks and cocktails
- BaharinaaaJuly 27, 2019This is Torontos Jazz destination! Perfect place to spend an evening listening to Jazz and having a beer!
- WayneNHJuly 24, 2014Best jazz club we've found in Toronto. If it's open jam or a scheduled performance, check it out!
- Seda SendenelFebruary 4, 2019Music is great but we couldnt find any seat so we had to leave after a while
- Paula MadeiraMarch 26, 2023Expensive like all the hotels in downtown Toronto, but the room and bathroom (in-suite) were clean, it was quiet and the location is awesome. Lame complementary breakfast and no stairs.
- Ozge YNovember 14, 2014Nice atmosphere and good music. Service is quick but you don't get to see the staff smile.
- Wen-Hao LueAugust 11, 2010Easily the best Jazz club in Toronto. Only warning is the volume (try not to sit too close to the front), and the ketchup (it tastes a bit off). Otherwise, their $2.75 plate of fries is killer.
- Russell HolleySeptember 14, 2014Live music is great on a Sunday afternoon accompanied by a pint or two of Tankhouse.
- Simply an institution. The staff are great and the venue is classic.
- Rudolf ChengOctober 13, 2014Pete Mills playing. Music is great! Wings smells great tho I couldn't have any... 😢
- Armando MartzAugust 16, 2014The worst service ever, the place is great and the jazz excelent, but the waitresses are very unpolite and they got mad every time we ask them for something
- Check out John MacLeod and the Rex Hotel Jazz Orchestra on the last Monday of every month. Great band!
- Barbara LavadinhoJanuary 4, 2010Gotta go to The Rex Jazz & Blues Bar & order the Chocolate Cadillac Cheesecake...it's to die for! Read more
- Gareth SeltzerOctober 12, 2011Never order the wings! Worst in the city. Like pigeon wings. Tiny, soft and each appears to have been hit be a car. Every wing had the bones broken so hard to eat. Like eating smashed Lego pieces.
