- Jeff S.May 29, 2016The Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum is a throwback. The ticket prices are very reasonable and it reminded me of Shea Stadium. This old stadium is definitely worth a visit.
- Derek GardnerAugust 31, 2013Great Ballpark Energy, fun place to go with friends! All the workers are super nice and helpful. You can bring Your OWN food into the park! And drinks! Frozen ice cream is great! Go support the A's!!!
- The sell beer in the stands + so many great places to go and have great food + beer and watch the A's!
- Harrison JohnsonOctober 14, 2017Doesn't have a lot of glim and glam but some of the best fans I've ever met. Really good time.
- Jennifer HalliganSeptember 26, 2013Anyone who doesn't like the Coli is just jealous of all the A's accomplishments throughout history. Even with Mt. Davis O.co is one of the best parks in baseball! The atmosphere is always electric!
- Best baseball team in the Bay Area, bar none. If you don't need the pretty views, gourmet food, and fufu crowds, this is the spot for you. A place for blue collar fans who are really into the game!
- WhiskyAvengerJune 18, 2018The ugliest stadium in MLB/NFL. Probably one of the reasons the raiders jilted Oakland again. The A’s must get a new stadium soon or they may be moving to Sacramento. Oakland deserves a new field.
- J LMay 30, 2016Saag's "Atomic Hot" sausage and tons of craft beers on tap puts the offerings at "nicer" stadiums to shame.
- Al SSeptember 27, 2014Best craft beer options are at the Gastropub, in the West Side Club, on the second deck and right behind home plate. They also serve made-to-order brick oven pizzas that are surprisingly good.
- Of course it's old, decrepit, in a bad part of town, and Mt. Davis is an abomination. But its still fun to watch a game. Home of 4 World Series titles and 2 Super Bowl champions.
- Jennifer HalliganSeptember 26, 2013Wanna meet THE BEST, LOUDEST, FRIENDLIEST, MOST CREATIVE & FUN FANS IN ALL OF BASEBALL? Come to the Coliseum! Sit behind the bullpen, on the rail in 119 or the crAziest exp try the bleachers! ;)
- Alma ArmentaOctober 27, 2014The food is super expensive--like any other stadium, and the stairs are a killer not only from the entrance to the seat but from the bart to your seat. but it is a great stadium in the city of Oakland
- MarkJune 3, 2013If you're a die-hard A's fan, the place to be is section 149 in the RF bleachers, home to some of the most entertaining fans in baseball (otherwise, look for cheap infield seats on StubHub).
- Jeff S.September 29, 2019The "Black Hole" at Oakland Alameda County Coliseum consists of sections 104-107 in the stadium's south end zone.
- Jennifer HalliganSeptember 23, 2015I LOVE O.CO AND THE OAKLAND ATHLETICS!!! IF U DONT YOU JUST ARE NOT THAT BRIGHT, I GUESS! And if you are a gnats fan ... there's always the Bay Bridge or the GG to jump off!!!
- It's difficult when you've been drinking, but you'll have an easier time leaving if you take the same route you came in. Even better get a ride share in B lot.
- The fan experience is boring, but always a great idea for visiting team fans to come here. As for Bay Area baseball fans, SF Giants fans have more class than A's fans since A's fans love to hate
- National Football Post.comJune 21, 2011You’ll find some of the best tailgates in Lots A and G. Once inside, grab a Saag’s sausage with peppers and onions and don’t forget the side of garlic fries. Read more
- Patrick Finley (@pjfinley)December 23, 2014Great atmosphere during game 5 of the ALCS vs. the Tigers. Not the best stadium, but it's all good.
- John CassilloAugust 14, 2012Half the time, you'll find cheaper tickets on the A's website than StubHub, even the day of the game. Outfield seats are fantastic for just $15.
- Watch your language during A's games! It can get you ejected from the game! I saw three fans get ejected for using excessive profanity after being warned twice (three strikes and you're OUT!)
- Marvin AndujarAugust 31, 2013It was a good game. I saw Kurt Suzuki hit a home run. Although, the stadium need some remodeling. You still can have a good time.
- Oakland AthleticsMarch 26, 2012Sit on the OF grass after every promotional Fireworks Night game. Following the final out, fans will be invited to sit on the field to watch the sky high show. Field seating is limited. Read more
- Food truck plaza. But let’s do our part to make sure the A’s get a quality stadium for years to come. The Coliseum is old and needs to be replaced.
- Sports IllustratedJuly 23, 2013May 8, 1968: Catfish Hunter, tossed the fourth perfect game in American League history. Hunter struck out 11 AND was productive at the plate, going 3-for-4 and driving in three runs. Read more
- Jean LJuly 20, 2015Upgrade needed! The small tvs to view the game when you go to the food stands, the slim selection at the food stand, the shared urinals!!!
- If you want sun, sit on 1st base side, field level. If you want the best team in baseball, sit anywhere. Go A's.
- Darryl DiosoOctober 3, 2011Watching the Raiders can be intimidating for sure. But once you get past the black face paint, spikes, chains, etc. you realize they are great folks. Just cheer for the Raiders to be safe though. ;)
- ExperienceApril 10, 2013You can now buy Seat and Experiential Upgrades at all A's home games! Download the MLB at the Ballpark app to upgrade:
http://oakland.athletics.mlb.com/oak/ticketing/upgrades.jsp - Galen WestSeptember 5, 2016The coliseum isn't the nicest place to see a game but it is still very enjoyable to see the #redsox play the #athletics.
- If you have suite tickets, you can go just about any loction in the stadium including the entrance tunnel and cheerleader landing!
- Mr MaggioOctober 3, 2014Home of the Raiders, one of the few old stadiums, get to visit it before the build another one...
- The food sucks but you can't beat free parking on Tuesday and a $4 ticket.
- Don't forget to wear sunscreen for day games. Oakland is hot, and the coliseum is basically a giant frying pan.
- Be advised that the Dryer's stand by section 130 is the ONLY stand that will let you buy a water bottle with credit card in this entire stadium. Even on the hottest day of summer...
- Best food is the Westside Club. You can get a brick oven pizza and all kinds of beer on tap.
- HISTORYMarch 29, 2010The stadium has hosted Oakland Raiders football between 1966-81 &1995-today, & Oakland A's baseball since 1968. On May 1, 1991, Rickey Henderson stole his 939th career base becoming an all-time leader
- Oakland AthleticsMarch 26, 2012Visit The Burger Shack behind Section 132 or the Grill Shack behind Section 211 for great Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers, Texas Grilled Cheese sandwiches, and fries. Read more
- Brandon CainJune 5, 2017Older stadium but still a great time. Tickets are super cheap. Don't skip on the load tots
- This was da bomb in the 70's but now it just blows! As need to go to San Jose, they will welcome Al and his traitors back in lipstick city and build a new venue for him there I am sure!
- Friday four pack - 4 tickets 4 meals for 50 bucks - can't be beat! And $2 tickets every Wednesday! ! Love the green and gold.
- The $4.75 grilled cheese at the Burger Shack behind section 132 is delicious and a decent deal for ballpark food.
- Veggie dogs are in section 220. If you are not seated on the club section, ask for an escort, which they will do. Often it takes persistence and a couple of tries.
- Jaron JamesJune 19, 2013Try taking the BART to the stadium and try the nachos with the beans. I didn't and am fully regretting the choice :(
