- Salih Seckin SevincDecember 20, 2016The best pizza pizza in NYC I have eaten so far. Brick oven + ingredients + service + the hip atmosphere makes this restaurant special. Try Li'l Stinker and Margherita pizzas 🍕
- You're missing out if you're only here for the pizza. Their pizza is amazing, BUT everything else on their menu is delish, especially their daily special. So lucky we live in the hood, it's the best!
- All the pizzas are legit, but the pastas are not to miss, either. Anything with bucatini will be killer. Be sure to order at least one Bee Sting pie (not on the menu, but always available).
- Daniel BouludJuly 30, 2014Last time my parents were here I took them to Roberta’s for Brunch. It is a great place to go on the weekend and enjoy the delicious pizzas! Especially the spicy and sweet Bee Sting.
- Tara LorimerSeptember 8, 2016Pizzas are delivered fresh and fast. The Bee Sting pizza wasn't on the menu but they were more than happy to make it for us - perfect combo of sweet from the honey and salty spice from the Sopressata.
- Rubén GarcíaSeptember 27, 2017The pizzas are excellent! In warm days, go to the takeout counter (next door down the street), order the pizzas to go (same menu) and take them to their outdoor picnic area, can't beat that!
- Mabelle SantosOctober 21, 2016We tried the Bee Sting which was off the menu & it was really, really, seriously good. The place has a nice, easy vibe and as a tourist it gave me a homey feel. Art grafitti outside are ig worthy too!
- Gary RelojJanuary 4, 2015Best come with 4 people or more so you can try as many different pizza as you can! So good I don't mind taking it to go to skip the line and eating it in my car.
- The New York TimesNovember 29, 2011Recommended: Pizzas; purslane salad; fairy tale eggplant salad; cuttlefish; octopus; carpaccio; agnolotti with cheese; trofie with razor clams; lamb breast; pork chops; steak; chef’s tasting menus. Read more
- Adrian PhillipsMarch 6, 2017After getting stung by the tremendous wait a few times (it's worth it), figured out the bar at the back was open seating. Sweetbreads, Brussels sprouts with apples & The Beastmaster (🍕) were great!
- Noelia de la CruzJanuary 5, 2013Order the Bee Sting! Thin crust with mozzarella and tomato sauce topped with spicy soppressata, chili flakes, & HONEY! It's absolutely delicious. Keep in mind, it's not on the menu so remember to ask!
- Kayleigh HarringtonOctober 4, 2016The bee sting. Heaven. You pick up to go at a different entrance than the restaurant.
- Chris WeberJune 15, 2019Second time we came. This time we had the cucumber garlic salad, the Spanish anchovies, the famous pizza and the pudding bun. It was great. This time I can tell it was one of the best pizzas ever ;-)
- The well known secret of Brooklyn. Started as a piazza place (they do have the best pizza in NY) but the key is the food - innovative different and oh so tasty. A must.
- Holy... While I highly recommend the beesting pizza - you have to get a Roberta's sticky bun, which surprisingly no one talks about. Blows Flour Bakery's out of the water (sorry Boston).
- Koen LepageSeptember 15, 2017Lovely & delicious pizza! 🍕You can eat a whole pizza by yourself without having the feeling you have eaten too much 😋 There is a great outdoor garden with cosy lights and a joyful bar.
- Bohdan HnatkovskyyMarch 8, 2019People say it’s so good, that Jay Z and Beyoncé often order a pie from here or secretly visit the place. Tried it a few times... that’s true for sure🍕
- Will HarahanOctober 25, 2018Pretty soon with the L train closing it’ll be a bit harder to get out here for a pie. Love the vibe here and of course the pizza is great.
- Julie SosciaJanuary 13, 2019Some of the best pizza you will find in NYC. In the summer, grab a slushy cocktail and outdoor seating. Order the Spicy Honey Soppressata Pizza aka Bee Sting. AMAZING!
- Steven CreightonSeptember 18, 2018Pizza is unreal - they love their red onion! Great selection of beers, the IPA they had on at the time was delicious. Pizzas starting from $15 and the IPA was $10. Cool toilet too 👀
- Erik CintronMay 21, 2014Really good personal pizza And a full Italian menu. In the upcoming bushwick hipster movement. Outside eating and friendly staff. Small bar with a nice wine list and craft beer. Fairly priced too.
- Heba-I-amSeptember 13, 2017Beastwork is one of the best pizzas i had in the US this year (i added soppresata...never enough meat right? 😅) super delicious! Great beer selection. Awesome and chill bartenders in the restaurant
- Consistently amazing pizza. Especially love any with greens eg the green and white, the good girl (although this has unfortunately been missing from the menu of late). Great vibe, cool place.
- Elevine BergeJanuary 10, 2015In the morning drop by the take-out place; coffee is only OK, but their 'morning bun' is a superb savoury invention. Like a croissant swirl with a blue cheese and mushroom filling...!
- ALL CAPS; This alluring elixir evokes the pristine, pine-imbued essence of springtime in the high Alps. Muddled rosemary & Zirbenz, an aromatic Swiss liqueur — play with spicy American rye. Read more
- Erin StFebruary 23, 2015Amazing pizza and atmosphere! The wait staff is extremely sweet and attentive. Sometimes there is a wait, but they will text you when your table is ready so I always just hang out by the bar.
- Justin HalsallJanuary 19, 2017They have a pizza here with honey that is not on the menu and its really amazing. All of the other stuff on the menu is also really really good. Get a couple pizzas and share, you'll enjoy yourself.
- If the Carrots with Grilled Mussels & Lime are on the menu, order them right away. Seriously, they might even be better than the pizza (which, incidentally, is among the best ever).
- Martin OngJuly 8, 2015I would come here everyday and try all the pizzas if it was closer. But if you're only here once, you have to get the Bee Sting!
- Blake SuharJune 1, 2018It's worth the wait, no matter how long. Great variety & options for all different types of pizza-lovers. Go with the Bee Sting - spicy soppressata, hot honey, mozzarella, diced tomatoes, & chili oil.

- ZenFoodsterSeptember 14, 2017Tomato salad was incredibly fresh & had a variety of organic cherry tomatoes, wedged whole tomatoes, thinly sliced cucumbers, sprigs of dill, basil, & sprinkled sesame..1 of best salads I've ever had!
- you can't go wrong with any pizza here. All fresh ingredients. Worth the 1-2 hour wait if youve never been. Grab a drink in the backyard while you wait or head around the corner to pine box rock shop.
- Ish RaiJuly 23, 2017Amazing pizza best I've ever had. my favourite was the 'famous original' it's a margarita with different cheeses. Also the 'Axel' if want a little meat on your pizza a really nice sopressata (ham).
- 1. Arrive early 2. Order the off-the-menu bee sting pizza (honey, sopressata, chili flakes) 3. Try a pasta and an entrée (it's not only about the pizza here) 4. Chill at the bar in the tent outback.
