- Dan SohaydaDecember 29, 2019Fantastic pizza if a bit pricey & expect a long wait. They do take out every day from 10am-12am so if you don't have to eat there get it to go to save time. They even have an area next door for this
- Time Out New YorkAugust 7, 2013The minimalist cheeseburger creation at this Bushwick game changer is only served at lunch Monday through Friday. But if you’re up for the daytime slog, you’ll be rewarded: A steal at $16. (CP) Read more
- ZenFoodsterOctober 25, 2014Amongst my fave pie joints in NYC! A perfectly thinner crust than most - Margherita w/ red onion & soppresata had tasty, sweet sauce & held up perfectly! Pizzas taste great on own w/o chili oil.
- Onur AvcıDecember 30, 2018The place is awesome, it look like small place outside but when you enter there is a huge garden at the back, mini bar and take away place. We had Bee sting pizza without honey it was nice.
- I love everything they do here: salads, pasta & pizza, great craft beer list. Brunch menu only: double cheeseburger, a beefy, textural delight, a Burger Joint style elevated backyard burger.
- Julie SosciaJuly 16, 2018Pizza is some of the best in NYC. Grab a slushie cocktail or enjoy a beer--outdoors is more fun than outdoor seating, but only available in the summer.
- ClaudioApril 26, 2016For first timers, don't expect a good looking place from the outside, just go in, have a seat and order a pizza. Nice atmosphere, awesome staff and interesting combinations.
- Heba-I-amSeptember 13, 2017Don't miss out on their bread pudding as well! It's all sorts of crazy and the black sesame ice cream is seriously good. Btw It's not an overwhelmingly sweet dessert.
- Ricky SherrillJune 22, 2016Wow...the hype is well deserved. The pizza is well worth the wait. The smart move is to go early on Sunday for their "Sunday Brunch". You can avoid the line and enjoy some specials.
- Richard RevillaJuly 22, 2017Really some of the most amazing pizza you will ever have. Great beer selections as well.
- Daniel BarnettNovember 23, 2014Some of the best pizza in NY. Phenomenal pizza and food. Bee Sting is original and I wish I thought of it. Chili oil, honey, soppresata...muah!! Also get the margarita or original.
- Chefs FeedOctober 2, 2015"I'll get a Margherita pie and maybe some pasta, a vinegary celery root salad, or some other awesome sh-t. And it's ALWAYS lick-the-f-cking-plate-clean good. ALWAYS." Chef Brooks Headley Read more
- Paul GaugerMarch 26, 2023Excellent pizza. Cool and hipster vibe. Super popular so book or go early. Abar next door that you can wait and have a cocktail.
- First We FeastAugust 3, 2014If you're looking for intense, funky minerality, the cheeseburger is actually a bargain at $16, especially when you consider that it comes with crispy potatoes and a buttery roll made in-house. Read more
- It's common sense to go for the pizza (bee sting w/ an egg on top) but order the smoked ribs to start then dip your pizza crusts in the remaining honey vinegar/togarashi dressing. Touch me.
- Katherine M.April 18, 2015"The pizza is amazing, as is everything else, like the orecchiette with pig tail ragu, ’nduja, and Pecorino Pepato; duck prosciutto; and spaghetti alla chitarra with broccoli rabe and Bianco Sardo." Read more
- mariana crispimJune 6, 2016Cheese stracciatella is incredible, ~Cheesus Christ pizza is a tasty option for vegetarians. The place is usually crowded, but is worth it! Beautiful people, outdoor space and music.
- Nicole CloutierSeptember 29, 2015Pizza, of course, but it's the charcuterie (n'duja, wagyu carpaccio) and wacky composed vegetable dishes (sweet potatoes, boudin noir, nasturtium) that make me want to eat here every week.
- Olivia ObinemeDecember 19, 2015Dinner before heading home. My friend loved the meatball sub. Their style of fries was so airy and delicious. Calamari was on point. And of course, the pizza -has the "Cheesus Christ" -LAWD yes.
- Kimmie OhhJanuary 3, 2020Try to get here early as seats always get taken :(. Get the Axl Rosenberg pizza. It has tomato, mozzarella, soppressata, double garlic, jalapeños & crimini mushrooms!
- Madeline JohnsonAugust 13, 2017Love this place! I live in the hood & brought my parents here. They loved the bar in back, and the pizza is all DELICIOUS. Service can be spotty, but overall is a great spot! Long wait times, beware!
- Vince C.July 10, 2015The beef shank was to die for and the Caesar with candied walnuts is always good. Obviously pizza is a must, and my fav is the lamb of God -- you really can't go wrong!
- Daniel BarnettOctober 19, 2014Been eating the pizza at the Mad Sq food tents and loving it for years. And then I bit the bullet and visited their restaurant in Williamsburg... and my respect level for them tripled. Def top 5 NYC.
- Alma LealAugust 13, 2016Order from the takeout local, next to the restaurant entrance, and then take your pizza to the patio. When I went, there were a lot of tables available there and it's nicer and breezier than inside.
- Toni HaberMarch 26, 2014Roberta’s pizzas are all about pairing fresh and local ingredients and are cooked to perfection. Seasonal pizzas always being added to the menu, so you will keep coming back for something new.
- Mallory NapolitanoSeptember 19, 2016Awesome pizzas but make sure you get the stracciatella-divine. Long wait for a table and got forgotten about the bar but nice bar staff sat us down there for full menu.
- Serious EatsApril 17, 2013Some of the city's top pizza, Neapolitan in spirit but New York in execution. The restaurant's other items are also very strong, including great bread and burgers.
- Alice EunjinApril 28, 2015"Spaghetti alla chitarra ...the pizza is amazing, ...the orecchiette with pig tail ragu, ’nduja, and Pecorino Pepato; duck prosciutto; and spaghetti alla chitarra with broccoli rabe and Bianco Sardo."
- Kimmie OhhJanuary 3, 2020Cheese lovers must get the Cheesus Christ pizza consisting of mozzarella, taleggio, parmigiano, black pepper & cream!
- DevontaSeptember 20, 2014The pizza was light and fresh. It didn't make me feel full. In a good. I ordered the Margherita pizza. The atmosphere inside is great too. Played old school hip hop all night.
- Toni HaberMarch 26, 2014Roberta’s pizzas are all about pairing fresh and local ingredients and cooked to perfection. Seasonal pizzas always being added to the menu, so you will keep coming back for something new.
- Micah MoreauNovember 13, 2017Pizza is great, not excellent. It’s wood-fired, thin crust, with high quality (dare I say “artisanal”) ingredients. Worth one trip to experience it, but probably not more than that
- While pizza is the obvious choice, brunch dishes -- like cornmeal pancakes and various takes on hash -- are also worth a special trip. Read more
- Ale TowerMarch 18, 2017Likely the best pizza in NYC. The base is very light and digestible, cheese is ok, tomato sauce a touch on the acid side. It's much better than you may think reading the above :)
- The pizzas are obviously great, but the (unsung) true stars are the veggie, pasta and kitchen dishes. Also a surprisingly great pastry program. The stracciatella w grilled bread is a must.
- ZenFoodsterSeptember 14, 2017I love their (brunch & off menu) pizza: the Bee Sting -which is a nice combo of savory-sweet & spicy!. 🐝🍕
- Dan RumennikApril 21, 2013The Wagyu steak is some of the most tender melt-in-your-mouth meat I've ever tried. Don't fall for thinking Roberta's is just about pizza. You must start your meal with the appetizer of beets.
- Stracciatella is God's gift. Their brunch is soooooo good! Don't miss it. Or do like I do, and go for two meals in one day.
- Alinutza VJanuary 7, 2016I am lactose intolerant and pizza is not my thing but still I love this place for the bacon soup. My mouth is watering just to think about it. They make a great bread also
- Madlen NenkovaOctober 17, 2014The pizza was amazing. Also the interior is perfect. Great for a dinner with a friend. A little bit noisy but great atmosphere.
- dawn.in.newyorkJanuary 28, 2015Go for not only a pizza but also good ambience especially in summer. Get the seat outside and eat a lot. Calzone is awesome.
- If you can make it here for lunch, get the cheeseburger. The best dry-aged burger in the city and the accompanying fried fingerling potatoes are off the hook. Only available M-F.
- TingJuly 27, 2015Rough and gritty. The pizza here is like Brooklyn. Flavorful and rough around the edges. If queue at main dining is too long, head a few doors down to the take away. There are seatings outside too.
- Get there early to put your name down & head to Pine Box Shop while you wait. Request the bee sting & the axel Rosenberg they are musts! Chessus Christ is also great, make sure to get it with honey.
- RJ DuganSeptember 5, 2013you don't have to believe the hype, but it really is a great spot. head out back and grab a drink—the wait for a table is usually way long, and the bar inside is usually overcrowded.
- Keith KerrJuly 9, 2018Good pizza. Go for the famous original or the White and Greens. Arrive here an hour before you think you’ll be hungry and don’t come here in a rush. Take it easy and enjoy yourself!
- Hannah ParvazOctober 17, 2016Special was eggplant emoji - mad delicious. If you eat meat go for the bee sting for a honey drizzled pepperoni pie
- LashaNovember 4, 2015The pizza is good. My favorite is the Involto pizza (inverse, kinda like a calzone, but a pizza!). Heavy for many, but so so good. Next time I'll try other dinner/lunch options.
