    Built in 1933 and designed by Architect, Raymond Hood. Height is 850 ft (260 m). Fact; It was during the construction of this building when the iconic ‘Lunch atop a Skyscraper’ was taken.

    Nice views over Central Park, Manhattan and Empire State Building. It was so great. And we saw sunset. The Top of the Rock is better than Empire.

    If the queue is long to buy tickets, head downstairs in Rockefeller to Pret a Manger. They have free open Wifi so you can buy your tickets on your smartphone and get a barcode ticket.

    Go there instead of the Empire State. From the Empire State, you can't see the Empire State. From the top of the Rock, you can. And lines are shorter = Less waiting ;)

    Go to the Top of the Rock observation deck for magnificent views over Central Park. Also, get there early for the famous “lighting of the tree” in early December!

    Bill's Bar and Burger on 51st is worth going to RC for as well as Top of the Rock's stellar view of Manhattan and surrounding boroughs. Don't miss Nintendo World on 48th and the Plaza!

    They sometimes tape morning shows in the open here so do hang around and look for clues. I was in line for another show but heard groupie screams coming from here
