    You must go into the lobby and see the "animated" painting/mural. Make sure you ask the security guards how and where you're supposed to walk in order to see it animate.

    Visit the ice rink before Thanksgiving and Christmas to avoid the crowds. On Thanksgiving go between 9am and noon or expect a one- to two-hour wait.

    Go inside 30 Rock and go to the basement. Lots of dining options. With back facing Starbucks, bathrooms are down the hall on the right.

    This location is one of my favorite places to visit during Christmas to see The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. The tree has been placed here annually since 1933. Great memories!
