Take advantage of the Foursquare or Yelp check-in deal for a free appetizer. Loved the chargrilled oysters and crab claws. Just a couple blocks from Bourbon Street, but much less crazy.

I was craving all of the things New Orleans is known for: gumbo, jambalaya and crawfish étouffée. The taste of New Orleans gave perfectly sized portions of each one! They were delicious! So yum!

Grilled Oysters and Shrimp Jambalaya -- both were excellent and as expected, served hot and done to a turn. Service was prompt and excellent. If you want something special just ask Chris, my waiter.

This should the first things you do on your first morning in New Orleans... a dozen charbroiled oysters & killer Bloody Mary. Ask for the vodka at end of the bar that's been been bathing in olives

Taste of New Orleans is great if you can't decide on other menu dishes. For the non-seafood person you ask about substituting chicken in the pasta dishes and they are more than willing to accommodate.

Solid Cajun/seafood, 3rd trip and not disappointed. Have had the same waiter 2x & he was awesome. (Ty) If you're a party of 2 you can sit on balcony. Sometimes there's an amazing violin duo on corner!

The charbroiled oysters will blow your mind! Cooked in butter, parm, and garlic - they're way better than the raw ones. Pro tip: order an extra side of garlic bread to sop up the sauce!

Came here twice! Really delicious, clean, and fresh tasting oysters. Strong drinks, try their hurricane and basil berry! Service and the kitchen is slow but very sweet staff :)

This place was excellent. I loved my oysters duo and the redfish beignets the locals next to me said I had to try (they were right - so good!) Friendly staff, great food, super reasonable prices!

If you don’t like oysters, the fried fish platter is great and comes with tons of delicious, perfectly fried fish. The FOH manager seems to sit sections too quickly, so the servers seem overwhelmed.

Check in on yelp for $10 off an appetizer. And let that appetizer be the charbroiled oysters! Lively setting and they'll open all of the doors so you can hear the musicians playing outside.

The fried alligator was great, along with the char-grilled oysters and the oyster pasta with scampi. I recommend all of those items! You won't regret it!

Crab claws is good. Blacken shrimp jambalaya is not good. Basically dip everything in the crab claw butter sauce. While dining, a roach crawl over 3 tables in front of me, lost appetite quickly...

Go stand in line at Acme, leave this place all to me. Excellent food and service, great oyters raw or chargrilled, and the prices are a steal. We went 3x in 3 days on vaca. We were regulars by the end

Chargrilled Oysters are life changing but if you want the spectrum you can order the duo....Trey, our wonderful server suggested doing 2 royale, 2 chargrilled, and 2 rockafeller. Also, crab claws. Yum

Try the gator bites, just the right amount of flavor. Crawfish ravioli is so good, the crawfish is so fresh. Blackened shrimp & sausage jambalaya is amazing. Possibly the best shrimp I've ever had!

I sat at the bar, had the chargrilled oysters, the best Bloody Mary, and the nice guy behind the bar suggested I try the redfish beignets, which he went off to make himself. Doesn't get much better.

Good grilled oysters with seafood stuffing. You need ID to sit or order at the bar - no exceptions. The waiter turned away a few 'senior' couples without it

In the past Ive always had a great experience, so Im hoping this was just a fluke. Our food was lukewarm and looked like it had been under the warming light a while. Veggies had little seasoning too.
