- Jess NaldoSeptember 19, 2015Margherita was delicious but the Vodka pizza is the TRUTH and Rubirosa does pizza right. Grab a seat by the bar, have a brew or two, and just enjoy steaming hot, drool-worthy pies in your face. 😇
- Behrad EatsApril 19, 2016The Rubirosa Supreme pizza has all the right toppings with a delicious crust: tomato, mozzarella, pepperoni, mini meatballs, and roasted garlic.
- Kayleigh HarringtonDecember 28, 2016You can get more than one type of pizza on one pie! Get half vodka and another half that catches your eye. If you're hungry add the Rubirosa salad and a tiramisu.
- Village VoiceAugust 15, 2014Of course, the real business here is pizza, with standouts including the caprese of homemade straciatella, tomato and pesto, or the mushroom and prosciutto, topped with peas and pecorino. Read more
- dawn.in.newyorkOctober 26, 2015Very thin crust pizza with naturally bold taste red sauce is just the perfection. Vodka sauce pizza seemed the most popular one. The best pizza place in NoLita area! Other menus were so great as well.
- Siddharth AryaMay 24, 2017Pizza was great. The Rubirosa supremo. Gluten free. Amazing. Service was good too. Till I was handed the cheque without asking, mid bite, half way through the pizza. Spoilt the experience completely
- Michael AnthonyDecember 7, 2023Tie die pizza did not disappoint. The half sausage and broccoli rabe was great too. The carbonara was good but def go for the pizza as there is better pasta in the city.
- Jaclyn RDecember 31, 2018Order the tie dye pizza! Great place to go on a date or even with a group! Decent wine selection
- Luca MarandoJuly 19, 2017One of the best pizzas in New York City. Has a very nice atmosphere with great staff. If you want a piece of New York's pizza history, this place should be on your list.
- Kimmie OhhJuly 12, 2020Delicious thin crust pizza! Get a pie with half vodka & half Rubirosa supreme! They have handmade pasta - get the Roman cacio e pepe. For a panino/panini get the braciola/braciole.
- You really can’t go wrong, but my favorite meal here would be the beef/veal/pork meatballs to start followed by vodka pizza and the cavatelli with sausage and broccoli rabe 😍😍
- Missy MackeyJanuary 23, 2020Best thing we had was the Tuscan mushroom pasta. Wow. The charcuterie was excellent. Cacio e Pepe was sub par but the tie dye pizza was out of this world.
- No Leftovers Jackie GebelJanuary 11, 2017Tie dye pie is INCREDIBLE! They swirl Pesto and vodka sauce and top with fresh burrata... need I say more?
- Chris CooksonJanuary 14, 2015Fantastic old school style pizza, a step up from the overrated but historically significant Lombardi's. More a sit down place to go with friends, thin crust, the vodka pizza is a great thing to try
- Yoav HornungJune 29, 2018Make a reservation! We used the Resy app and asked it to notify us when there’s availability. Took half vodka pizza and half supreme. It was great! The large is LARGE. Meatballs were also great!
- Get the daily special pizza, every time. Also the vodka pizza, and the supreme pizza. Great value for Nolita, too.
- The gluten free menu is massive and out of this world. Having tried both the “normal” pizza and the GF, I can tell you they are almost exactly alike. You will not be disappointed.
- Shari Forman JosephJune 21, 2013Come with a few people so you can tour the menu but everything should revolve around the vodka pizza! Other faves incl eggplant parm, stuffed artichoke, Rubirosa salad and tomato ravioli. Mangia!
- Sam GilJune 23, 2018Vodka was amazing sauce. Classic was solid. Not big fan of their crust though so definitely don’t put them in contention for top nyc pizza. However..it’s super delicious!
- jennifer hanMay 1, 2016the vodka pizza is so good. slices and full menu available up until 4pm so i like to go at 3-ish for a slice or two and one of the pastas. better on your own or with a friend -- it's teeny inside.
- Chad HornerSeptember 12, 2016the vodka pizza is their specialty, and the tie-dye pie incorporates some pesto and red sauce with the vodka. some of the thinnest crust you'll find, but it holds up well!
- Taiowa WanerJanuary 14, 2020Great spot that is larger than it appears, so do not be put off by any lines.Go with a group and grab a pizza and some pasta dishes. All the choices are delicious. I prefer the Cacio e Pepe.

- Ryan CampbellMarch 27, 2018One of the best pies in the city. Crust is thin and crisp just the way a NY pizza should be. Pesto pies shouldn't be overlooked. Expect a wait though if you didn't reserve no matter when you go.
- Paul BoothNovember 14, 2016Amazing flavours! Try the vodka and mozzarella pizza, or the pasta with meatballs. Be careful though - large pasta is much larger in price. You can go half and half on pizza to try different flavours

- Linda ChowDecember 12, 2016Took a while for food to come out, but worth the wait! Incredible pizzas; amazing spaghetti & meatballs; roasted octopus was <3, and tiramisu was the perfect sweet ending. Reservations are a must!

- Arte YescasOctober 11, 2017Looovely place, delicious and quick. Small Bianca pizza adding prosciutto for two plus an Arugula salad. 🙌🏼 Water was fine since the food quantities are big.
- Luciano RuoccoMarch 25, 2016This tiny but cool pizza spot was serving made to order person pizza pies Which is the only way to do it. They have all different types of topping and also serve alcohol and suggest perfect pairings.

- Marc CohenMarch 3, 2017Vodka pizza, razor clams, charcuterie plate, and arugula pizza all great. Amazing food but not sure the hype really deserves foursquare #1 pizza in NYC.

- Ryan CampbellJanuary 18, 2020Vodka pizza with the pesto swirl is one of my favorites in the city. Super thin and crispy crust. Reserve a seat in advance or there will be a wait that’s well worth it.
- Lady MewJuly 10, 2016Pesto pizza and the Butter Ravioli were both amazing. We got seated at a table by the host stand, which was a little annoying, but the food made up for it.
- Lisa EApril 6, 2016Roasted brussels sprouts, tie-dye pizza, salads, the olive oil that comes with the fresh baked bread... all of it is delicious. It's one of those 'you can't go wrong' menus.
- Lili BazJanuary 19, 2020Cozy atmosphere! The Tuscan Kale Campanelle and Tie-Dye Pizza are a must! The Cacio E Pepe was nothing special. Expect a long wait but worth it!
- Paisley GilmourJanuary 17, 2018Obviously get the vodka pizza with mozzarella - it’s the best tomato/cheese combo ever... so creamy. Two of us shared a large pizza: half fungi and half vodka margherita. Still thinking about it tbh
