- Alex EngelAugust 25, 2014Choose any salad, pasta, and pizza to share for 4 people (and a bottle of wine...or 2). Pizza is thin crust and really crispy, just delicious. Not to mention the place has a great ambiance.
- Meg FarmerOctober 24, 2015Such a cozy place with delicious food. Great for groups as well as dates. Thin crust pizza is top notch, but don't overlook the salad, calamari, and ravioli; all favs from our table.
- Jaime MNovember 11, 2016Long waits, but worth it. Leave your name and number and visit one of the many nearby bars until they have a spot for you!
- Lori LuoAugust 10, 2014Super thin-crust pizza with a variety of toppings are served at Rubirosa. Try the Vodka variety, but the Supreme (with tomato, mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, and roasted garlic) is the best.
- Lili BazJanuary 19, 2020Cozy atmosphere! The Tuscan Kale Campanelle and Tie-Dye Pizza are a must! The Cacio E Pepe was nothing special. Expect a long wait but worth it!
- Elvis RodricksApril 21, 2020Between the classic pizza and the thai dye, the dye has me hooked! Spaghetti was unique, being thin and freshly made from scratch, with a homemade sauce taste to finish!
- Lisa EApril 6, 2016Roasted brussels sprouts, tie-dye pizza, salads, the olive oil that comes with the fresh baked bread... all of it is delicious. It's one of those 'you can't go wrong' menus.
- AbNovember 27, 2015Came with doubts. Left a believer. One of the best thin-crust pizzas I've ever put in my mouth. Try that vodka pizza folks keep talking about.
- Serious EatsMarch 20, 2013Soul-satisfying red sauce Italian done right. Great lasagna, chicken parm, some of the best pizza in Little Italy.
- Shiyana BellamyAugust 10, 2015Their velvet curtain entrance made me hesitate at first, but I went in. The Tie-Dye pizza is the best thing I ever had. They not only serve pies, but have rice balls and savory handmade pasta.
- Ira BSeptember 1, 2015Very good, very, very thin crust pizza. But prepare for a little heat inside this place. With the exposed light bulbs, candles on tables and furnace in back, you can find yourself a bit overheated.
- Love this place! Their Vodka pie with a fresh arugula is so GOOD! Mozz sticks, pastas are simple yet great tasting. One can tell they use really good ingredients. Must try!
- All time favorite. Amazing food. The pizza here is something different. Vodka pizza #1. Mozz sticks. Pasta A+
- Arte YescasOctober 11, 2017Looovely place, delicious and quick. Small Bianca pizza adding prosciutto for two plus an Arugula salad. 🙌🏼 Water was fine since the food quantities are big.
- Behrad EatsApril 19, 2016Throw some Sopresatta on their Classic 50 year old NY-style family recipe for one killer New York pizza!
- As you think about what pizza to order, don't overlook the appetizers and sides. The calamari might have been the best I've had and the Brussels sprouts with bacon, real good
- Zach RSeptember 20, 2015Had a great experience- the caprese salad and Rubirosa Supreme pizza are incredible. The Black Manhattan is an excellent cocktail pairing to go along with them, too.
- AndyAugust 14, 2018Every bit as good as described. The classic pizza is amazing and the cocktails are amazing. I recommend the quarter water.
- Chris ThunJuly 3, 2014Rubirosa makes our hearts pump pizza sauce. The vodka pie is a must-order: classic vodka sauce atop a thin crust with melted mozzarella that blurs the line between cheese and sauce.
- Obsessed with the pizza here. Thin crust and so delicious. Their antipasto platter is great too. You can't go wrong. Expect a wait but it's worth it.
- Mike FolkertSeptember 16, 2012If you are a fan of very thin (almost cracker-like) crust, the pizza here is the best we have found of that style in the city - the large-format lasagna and chicken parm are also excellent.
- You pretty much can't go wrong anywhere on the menu. Start with a caprese or arugula salad. Onwards to the ravioli. Or pizza (fresca). Ask to sit in the back, it's quieter.
- It's not on the menu but if you ask, they will split pizza toppings for you. I suggest getting a pie with half Vodka and half Supreme to get a taste of the best two pies
- Christine TranSeptember 17, 2016Great service and vibe. I can live on a diet of Supreme, Vodka, and Tie-Dye pizzas.
- Crazy delicious crab pasta and the wine is good. Very cozy with dim lights. Will certainly com back for more.
- Paige CJanuary 3, 2016Order the tie-dye pizza and be sure to add pepperoni! The staff could be friendlier, but don't expect much. It's the pizza that draws people in!
- Roberto BuaApril 5, 2015Get the lasagna (definitely the crown jewel) and the baked clams. Old school Italian-American food with a modern twist.
- Anuj MathurNovember 22, 2014One of the best chicken parm plates in the city. It's the size of a large dinner plate and comes with a healthy bowl of spaghetti alla chitarra for $22.

- Johis HerassJune 2, 2022Black and white tagliatelle is really really good!! The ruborosa antipasto was great to share a good glass of wine!! I love it at all!
- Claudia MMarch 13, 2013I want someone to create an app that sends me a personal alert when their black kale pizza is their special. Or better yet, just sends the pizza straight to my apt, because let's just save time.
- Chris KramerJuly 13, 2019The Rubirosa Supreme was so good, our table ordered a second one when we finished the first. One of the best pizzas I’ve had in NYC.
- Autumn ChoiJune 18, 2022Amazing thin pizza, their tie-dye is amazing. Unfortunately no res and only one stall for the whole restaurant, but worth all the inconveniences
- Cole KennedyApril 10, 2015The vodka pizza is one of the best thin crust pizzas you'll ever eat, but I dunno if I'd go as far as saying best in NYC. That honor sticks with Roberta's for me.
- Theodore PapanestorosMay 26, 2012Great pizza even for the EU standards:) Try the large sized pizza but order 2 different kinds from the menu. It's not mentioned there but it is an option!

- Chris GampatNovember 23, 2021The desserts can be bigger than the entree. This place is super comfy. Go in. You’ll enjoy it!
- Ian KennedyFebruary 21, 2021Went half/half with vodka-sauce and arugula. Two totally different experiences, both top notch!
- Honghui YuAugust 30, 2015Try the caprese pizza - pesto and mozzarella topped with fresh tomatoes and basil; add some sausage if you're hungry though you probably won't need to
- Susanne KellyOctober 20, 2017don't tell anyone else but this is the best pizza!! the best. get the tie dye! get the supreme! the vodka sauce is amazing amazing.
- Best Eggplant Parm I've had. Great toasted bun and side salad. Rubirosa just did a pull-up jumper right in Parm's facial.
- AmateurConciergeApril 24, 2017For celiacs and gluten haters, enjoy the gluten free crust (12" size only) but I'd be lying if I didn't tell you you're missing out
- AmberOctober 27, 2016Get the pizza. ...Duh. Pro tip: if you go before 5pm you can get it by the slice.
- Go for broke and get the caprese pizza. They replaced the mozz with fresh home made straciatella and it is the bomb.
