The chicken couscous at this Egyptian cafe is as good as it gets, bathed in broth redolent of root vegetables and cinnamon. Read more

I booked an event at Sahara East on 11st and 1st Ave. Two hours before the event, they say they want each person to also spend $40. Do not patronize this place. #restaurants #nyc

Not the best place. When I went today, they changed the hookah from $15 to $17. Nice garden area in back, really nice and chill at night.

I wouldn't suggest coming here. The hookah is expensive, you have to pay for a drink (even if it's water), and the gratuity is already included even though the service sucks :(
