The trick: call five minutes ahead of time, say you want a #1 spicy for pick-up, then head to the deli.

Call your order in for pick up to avoid all the creative types awkwardly standing around trying to figure out what to order.

If you would like a spicy sandwich ask for extra spicy. The "regular" spicy level is not spicy at all.

Get the freshly pressed sugar cane juice. The species of sugar cane is lightly sweet and refreshing.

Vegan lemongrass (spicy) is my fave. New bubble tea counter is nice - the watermelon (ripe watermelon + ice + BlendTec) is really good to beat the summer heat.

Unless you're a crumb wizard, bring a placemat or make one out of napkins when you stay to eat because the crumbs from the crunchy roll WILL end up everywhere. Like sparks flying!

The #1 classic is great but I'm in love with the special pâsandwich. They also have great drinks to choose from- the salty lemon soda and basil seed drink are my fave.

Get a #1 (house sandwich). Ask for fresh peppers & not hot sauce. Chicken is good option for something more warming.
