- Jason JokerstMay 24, 2018When arriving at Terminal 1, if you want to grab an amazing craft beer there is an awesome little bar on the west end. Perfect after a long flight to relax if you are not rushed to leave airport.Upvoted 1 day ago
- Departures: sit on the right for views of the bay and beaches after flying over Liberty Station. Arrivals: sit on the left for views of Coronado bridge, Petco Park, and the downtown skyline.Upvoted 1 day ago

- Terminal 2 is awesome, and the Stone brewery is a must visit!! Cheers! #mapthis
- Rebecca BalnisNovember 2, 2016One of the cleanest most courteous airports I've ever seen. With a very impressive tap selection.
- PCL ConstructionJanuary 8, 2013The 445,000 sqft expansion of Terminal 2 will accommodate 10 new gates and expanded concession space. This new area will feature a 300-foot-long, 2.5-story, glass-enclosed hall called Sunset Cove. Read more
- Nice airport but what’s weird is the night and day difference between terminal 1 and 2. Terminal 2 is by far better. Oh and invest in TSA Pre. Comes in handy.
- Abdulaziz 🦦December 14, 2018One of the nicest airports I ever seen! It has easy access and easy exit! Overall i will grade it with A+++ compared to others !
- San Diego Architectural FoundationFebruary 3, 2014The Certified LEED® Gold Green Build Terminal 2 at San Diego’s Lindbergh Field is both atypical and progressive with a glass curtain wall that provides a stunning view of the runway and of the city.
- Apply for Global Entry or TSA Pre-Check and you'll breeze right through security!Upvoted Aug 22
- One of the fastest airports, according to data analytics blog Five Thirty Eight, thanks to "relatively good and predictable weather, along with modest air traffic volume." The Counter burger is bomb
- Have some time to kill if you are waiting for ground transportation? Liberty Station is only a 20 minute stroll away! There you can enjoy scenic views and multiple dining options. Harbor Dr -> Laning
- Basheera AbdulazizOctober 26, 2018One of my favorite airports. Lovely with art works on the walls, small and convenient, everything is just close to you, you don’t have to walk 83727 Km to reach your gate.
- Pannikin has its yummy baked goods and coffee at the Artisan Cafe Gate 3 - 4 area. Missed getting to Leucadian location - so nice surprise.
- Akjhia HaleyJanuary 31, 2016Such a big airport. So clean and the attention to the client is good too. I like to see all the people that take a flight here, such diversity from all around the world.
- Food and shops and ambience here is one of the best anywhere in the US and world. San Diego has transformed its small airport into a place that is enjoyable, relaxing and accommodating.
- The TSA Pre screening is really efficient and fast. Definitely better than Terminal 1, where you still have to take out your laptop and where you simply get mixed in with the regular traffic.
- Do you need an Uber and have your baggage with you. Request them at about Stone Brewing and by the time you get out and across the street they should be pulling up!
- My favorite airport! Make sure you get here early as security lines get backed up very quick (especially in the early morning)
- Awesome airport to fly into. Never a long TSA wait and amazing access to downtown SD
- I know it’s now $38 dollars a day (on 03/30/24), but so convenient coming and going! No fighting for seats on a shuttle bus. The structure is right adjacent to gates and baggage areas. Worth it!
- Fluying ✅February 1, 2018If traveling north of California, best views during the morning are on the right side of the plane.
- Marco DelgadoMarch 31, 2015Try the grilled Asian chicken sandwich at the restaurant/bar Stone brewing co. The security guard recommended it as the best sandwich in the airport and it really was astonishingly good. Thumbs up
- Bring an empty water bottle! You can empty it before going through security in the little sinks they have there, then fill it up at the fresh water filling station on the other side!
- Gotta love it - traveling 5 weeks out of 6! See it Coming & going! Could use more seating in the Southwest terminal (#1), but I still like Southwest's attitude & appreciation for their customers!
- Welcome to San Deigo! Although this airport is ranked as one of the most dangerous for pilots, I've never had or heard about a problem. The recent expansion has made this a very nice airport. Enjoy!
- San Diego airport easy to get around but don’t love the artisan market on AA side. Chai tea was tasteless and they wouldn’t heat my almond croissant! Even though they toasted my boyfriends bagel.
- Checkout The Counter at Gates 3-10. Amazingly fast, equally good and surprisingly not any more expensive than than regular locations!
- Ricardo HernandezNovember 5, 2016Great location. From any midpoint of San Diego you will do 15 mins. Car Rental location is 10 mins away with free buses going around. Small terminals; usually no waiting lines.
- Nikolas FlorosDecember 17, 2014One of the nicest airports I've been in in a long while. The renovations have made it a beautiful space and the art/science installations are gorgeous and well done.
- Very nice airport. Decent food choices. Not a very big airport for a relatively big city which makes it easy to navigate. Very clean. Lots of restrooms. Mostly friendly employees.
- TSA pre closed during non-peak hrs. You'll be in the regular line and need to remove liquids and laptops but keep your shoes on. Not the end of the world, but keep in mind if you tend to run late.
- DoubleTree by HiltonJuly 2, 2013Visit Lucha Libre Gourmet Taco Shop, a Mexican-wrestling-themed shop that features frenchfry-filled concoctions of deliciousness. It’s located minutes from the SD Airport at 1810 Washington Street.
- The new terminal is a mess. Design is extremely flawed. The old terminal is still more efficient
- Lauren SelinskySeptember 14, 2013Amazing shopping at new terminal & great cafes! If you are stuck! No worries! SD airport will have you covered! Cute shop! #apricotlane LIKE MY NEW BANGELS??
- Opt for a QR code boarding passing and get it as a text message. High probability that device (smart phone) is in your hand anyway :-)
- Leaving from Gates 1, 1A or 2 is a pain! No TSA pre-check despite 2 lines & many folks who have Pre-check (clearly not accustomed to SAN or having to remove toiletries & computers)!
- Pete WilliamsOctober 29, 2018Keep an eye out for the interesting shadows on your way to the rent-a-cars..
- Look up when you are waiting in the gate, you will see something you don’t normally see in the strip of light on the ceiling!
https://www.instagram.com/p/B0wC9FzjMeN/?igshid=7aa63lk9z71b - Get a massage at the spa near gate 25 in terminal 2 and ask for Trisha. Also, try the oxygen machine with your chair massage
- Hisham IlaianJanuary 6, 2015San diego very beautiful, enjoy the weather and the beach. If you need anything to be carried ASAP from point A to point B in San Diego or anywhere in southern California call www.samedayex.com .
- Bankers Hill pub in Terminal 1 (Southwest, Alaska, etc) has full liquor license, local craft brews, fun scene.
- Giuseppe MalucelliJune 9, 2012Welcome to San Diego, the America Finest City! Enjoy your time here to know this amazing city.. Don't forget to go to Blacks Beach to watch the most beautiful sunset all over the world!
- Silvestre AcedilloSeptember 22, 2013Be aware that rental cars have been moved to a different place and is actually further away from the airport. So don't have any appointments, if you are on a business trip, that is too time critical.
- This airport is very easy! Great shops and restaurants and easy to find your ride.
- DonovanApril 30, 2016Better directions farther out on the incoming highways would be nice for new people to the area. Great car rental area though.
- You don't need to get there early if your at terminal 1, the eats and drinks are lame until they finish the upgrades in 2015 but if you're at T2 you need time for Stone Brewery!
- Nice airport. TSA is generally quick and professional and there are good options for eats.
- LOVE It here! Free wifi and Every seat has a power outlet! And bathrooms are super long so don't have to worry about being stuck in there with the luggage :)
