Atmosphere. Food. Service. All of it was just so good. The pasta is super fresh and just spot on. Definitely going back.

Find exquisite Italian cooking at Scott Conant’s downtown restaurant. Rich pasta and tender goat feel like fine dining, but everyone’s welcome at Scarpetta.

The mozzarella in carrozza is a great starter. And the spaghetti with tomato sauce will keep you coming back again and again.

The polenta is among the best I've ever tasted. The pasta dishes are also excellent, but certainly could have larger portions for the price.

Short rib and bone marrow agnolotti. Don't ask. Just do it. Not to mention that house made Stromboli that is in every basket of bread.

Not what it used to be. The service is careless as ever, and the spaghetti and polenta that used to carry the menu have lost their charm. Avoid.

Warning: entire table must order from the Restaurant Week menu or no one can. One of our party of 5 didn't want the offered pasta so the other 4 of us had to pay full menu price. Unwelcome surprise.

The chocolate cake is like yin and yang. Warm, rich chocolate cake, lightly crumbly outside but intensely soft and moist at the center, paired with cold, creamy vanilla ice cream. It's perfect.

Try the chips at the bar. Like waffle fries but in chip form, making them crispy but also light and airy. Seasoned with salt, pepper and Rosemary--the combination is delicious.

The tuna is very fresh and large enough for an entree but it lacks flavor and could use a vinaigrette or some sort of light sauce.
