Free entry so worth a visit but much has not been kept up to date. Lots of broken exhibits and stuff that doesnt work shame. Basement great for kids age 2 to 6. Food is pricey but there are benches

Avoid the "Atmosphere" exhibit at all costs. The Exhibit being sponsored by Shell means that they're presenting highly skewed positions on Global Warming.

While they close at 6, they really start kicking you out in no uncertain terms starting at 5.30. I even got kicked out of the shop at 5.45. No tourist £s for you! :-p

The actual information is aimed at children and people who aren't very scientific, but the activities are fun and good for families.
