Vegetarian here: this is one of my favorite places in Brooklyn. Start with the breakfast sandwiches. Graduate to grits, tomato soup, amazing pizzas, nitro cold brew, etc. Trust them with everything.

The BEST bread. The BEST grits. The BEST pizza-made-on-focaccia. If you've ever thought you enjoyed good bread or pastries, you owe it to yourself to go. Now. NOW. Get a loaf for the homestead.

The sandwich breads they use are incredible. Grits with roasted asparagus and almond romesco. Anything for dessert. I'm writing a blank check for real, you can't order anything wrong here.

The grits were amazing, as was the fall flatbread. Getting a sourdough to remember it by - very sad to see it go. Get there before it closes on October 11th!

When I learned about breakfast cups, I thought it was genius. At SCRATCHbread, it's next level deliciousness. Would have taken a pic if I didn't scarf those amazing grits!

Build your own grits if you dare, or let the SCRATCHbread geniuses surprise you with whatever they are cooking up that week. Shortbread is a mandatory addition to any order.

Definitely get the soft egg and kale pesto paste w/ your grits. The kale pesto is so good, when I accidentally got a bit on my finger I almost gnawed it off.

A revamped pecan sticky bun featuring candied orange, molasses, pleasantly spicy chilies, and pecans. Try one out if you can handle it -- these breads don't hold back.
