- Nova Lani ChristieDecember 4, 2023If you get the chance, check out the “ Sensory room & prayer room. Located in CONCOURSE A
- Nate HartMay 16, 2013Beechers Cafe in the C terminal is absolutely awesome - skip Starbucks, they don't even have a toaster for your bagel!
- N KAugust 17, 2014Free wifi great. Decent sitting area while you wait for flights. Nice staff at delta ticket counter.
- Matthew BogartJanuary 3, 2015Easy to get in and out. Didn't stay long but better experience the. At Ohara or similar larger city airport.
- Blake OlsonJanuary 6, 2015I love the airline pretzels! However this crowded bathroom smelling airport also has way too many crying baby's, definitely ruined my trip. 👎
- Erkan SakaOctober 26, 2018If you are to use public transportation, you can buy day passes instead of a single train ticket.
- Rookie mistake is to get in the first security line you see. Usually the ones in the middle or south end are shorter, so find a faster one.
- Marilyn FungOctober 1, 2011Free wi-fi at this airport makes time go by a bit more quickly! Catch the Central Link Light Rail to/from downtown Seattle. Only $2.75 each way!
- Parking is high, great land side food though, plenty of places to sit and wait for passengers flying in
- If you're in the north satellite, eat at Bigfoot! Family owned -real people& tasty!! Try the pulledpork sandwich! They also have alcohol :)

- International arrivals will have a different experience. You now collect your bags and the proceed to passport control
- TSA agents are much friendlier (and smarter) in Portland. If you are on the Alaska airlines shuttle to PDX you can speed through ANY security line. Not just the one closest to Alaska gates.
- Ray HartjenOctober 17, 2014The only way to get to Sea-Tac from downtown is the LINK light rail. Only $2.75 and 35 minutes. A deal at 4x the cost.
- Great coffee, excellent views, easy in and out. Solid airport
- Best airport I've been thru! Security lines are long but fast & efficient! Love it!
- Anisha AgarwalaNovember 4, 20132 pm to 3 pm is considered the slow time at the airport. Come prepared for less lines and slower lines if you have a flight around 4pm.
- TSA-Pre is at checkpoint 3 which is at the beginning (Alaska) of airport terminal (united fliers walk long & then again walk back once thru security)...which airlines have most TSA -pre's UA or Alaska
- Héctor HernándezMarch 5, 2015Confortable enough! As all airports I Will say.. food section is really good though..
- SheilaOctober 19, 2019California airports need to take lessons on traffic and people moving from Sea-Tac, even in the rain we stayed undercover from plane to bus to terminal to shuttle services!
- If you have a military CAC, you can go to the TSA pre-check. No shoes off.....no liquids/gels, laptops out your bags.....none of that. Just walk thru.
- Sam HApril 9, 2013Whatever you do, make sure you bring up Curt Cobain jokes while you're here! Big hit with the locals.
- Sarah BirtwisleJanuary 3, 2014Taxi to airport was a white knuckle ride with driver on phone and back end of cab swaying about like billyoh. Get the train if you value your life and it is cheaper 😄
- Robyn SiderskyJuly 28, 2012The Bagel place in the N terminal is awesome. Quick service and yummy. Great for early flights.
- Matt28800 @January 20, 2013Flew out at 6am on a holiday Sunday and EVERY food location and shop was open and doing business. Very Nice!
- On a busy morning, try dropping off your pre-boarded passengers at the arrivals level. There will be easy drop off without a line.
- Marco LackovicNovember 17, 2011The cheapest way to get downtown is the Light Rail, only 2-3$. The Downtown Airporter will take you to your hotel and pick you up on your departure date for a bit more than 50$
- The Seattle Taproom by A/B terminal has a much better beer selection than the Alaska brewpub on the other side.
- Doc SearlsOctober 13, 2022If you’re renting a car, build in a LOT of extra time because it’s nowhere nearby and the busses to and from can hit heavy traffic.
- Beecher's Cheese Shop has delicious sandwiches. Located by gate C2. Try the Flagship!
- DaleAugust 27, 2018Go early. It’s a huge airport and you may have to walk awhile just to get to your gate.
- Chaz Donaldson IISeptember 27, 2010one of the more painless ways to get away from Portland is to brave the connection through Seattle - well worth the extra range and sometime price savings
- What you eat at Microsoft stays with ... TSA. Enjoy the chilli and the gingerale. Those are definitely dangerous items ... for my health. Have at it.
- Lots of food and shopping options. Very clean and modern.
- If your just arriving, go eat next door at Sharpe's Roaster. Ask to sit in Lori's section. Great service an even greater food/drinks!
- Kesia DianeJuly 15, 2013You better leave from your hotel or home early....parking is disconnected, rental car center is far away, and terminal for Delta...darn near needed a helicopter to get there.
- Josh SwansonApril 24, 2015Great airport, quick security. Stick with Zone 3 even if the line looks long
- Easy to navigate airport. Wait times are usually around 10s. No healthy food options.
- Security is easy if you're prepared. If it takes you more than a minute to get your stuff on the conveyor belt...BE FASTER OR ALLOW OTHERS TO GO IF THEY'RE READY
- Christina XuMarch 7, 2016Come like 2 hours early, even for domestic flights. You have to take a train to the N and S terminals!

- Daniels LeeJanuary 23, 2012Sit down at your terminal and put away the laptop, smartphone, tablet, kindle, or any digital device. Try practicing mindfulness instead and give yourself the gift of being fully present.
- One of the best airports I've been to - clean, orderly and everyone was very polite.
- TSA Pre ✔️ is past the Starbucks left of the main security. It's kinda out of the way.
- Be prepared to stand in the security screening line for a while. This is an airport where you definitely need to arrive early.
