Beer is good. Atmosphere is nice. It's located near Rack's, Marketeer Inn, Rock Island, Mario's and Gayla's, which helps this neighborhood to be a quaint barhopping destination.

The beer is ok, nothing amazing. Chicken wings were bad, they should be crispy not soft, but the sauce was great. And the mini pretzels tasted previously frozen.
It has a great dive bar atmosphere, delicious craft beer, and cool bar games.
The food is amazing and so is the concept. The beer is kinda meh. Burnt City has the best offering though.

Newer-ish place in the burbs. Got a bison burger and the light flight. Food was really good, but the drinks were so-so. Will definitely be back to try more brews.
Go down the alley to the left of the building and head for the door at the end. There you will find Beervana; a magical place full of great beer and some super cool folks.
Parking is limited and the beer is awesome so take public transit if you can!
It may be hidden at the back of an industrial park but it’s definitely worth a visit!

The crispy pies hold a lot of weight, so after you choose your pizza style—red, white or New Haven plain—start picking toppings. (If you’re really going New Haven–style, try one with clams and bacon.)
Pretty good selection of craft beers. Definitely worth a stop if Goose Island brought you to the neighborhood.

The (delightfully non-crowded) Saturday tour is great if what 'brewery tour' means to you is 'entertaining chance to drink'.
The beers are always on rotation much like their excellent sister site, DryHop. Amazing burgers and pizza. A new favorite.
Even if you can't make it in for a tour. It's still a great place to visit and have a drink.
This is the original Goose Island Tap room. A must visit for crafty beer lovers.

Kedzie Ave. brewery is open to the public Wednesdays through Saturdays, from 2-10pm. It offers complimentary guided tours every Wednesday through Saturday at 6pm.
Not often open to the public... But that's no reason to not drink their beer! Troublesome and Apex Predator are my favorites.

This is a great must visit spot for beer lovers but it is also very much in the "hood" so I recommend taking a car there and going during the day.
Try everything and you'll be in for a treat with beer made from the heart with precision. The design aesthetic allows the drinker to focus on the flavors of the beers w/o sense overload.

Try the Bikini Bottom. So good. Great atmosphere. A nice place to visit when you just need a beer

Here's a brewery which still isn't on most beer maps. Beers are solidly to style. UP North Line trains are two blocks west. If this was 1962, North Shore Line electric trains would get you here.
About 10-12 beers to try, all brewed onsite. Pick a flight of 4 or just have a pint. No food menu but you can order in, and there was a taco truck outside when we were there. Love this is in Glenview!
Beers, burger and schnitzel were all delicious. Get them with root chips and grab a beer flight. If you want something light, the fried giardiniera is great. Toro & Night Moth are great beers.
