- Christine WangMarch 14, 2013This is THE musical to go to. Adorable, perfectly choreographed kids are mixed with excellent adult performances. And the set is amazingly designed. Be prepared for amazing dancing and lots of laughs!Upvoted Oct 14
- Millie LamboyAugust 4, 2017Hello Dolly with Bette Middler as the main performer. Incredibly awesome performance and show!! One can see this show forever!! A must see!!!
- Melissa BurgessFebruary 3, 2015Matilda was awesome! Some balcony seats will have poles in front of them that partially obstruct their view. Small (but great) venue for a musical.
- Lenny GalloMay 8, 2022While I love this historic theatre and what it represents about the history of the Great White Way, it still has the smallest seats of any theatre on Broadway.
- Steve LeVineMay 2, 2022Home to many great Broadway way shows. Saw Spamalot here on its second day. Just saw POTUS on opening night- hilarious and awesome.
- My wife is in a wheelchair and it is one of the only Broadway theaters without an accessible bathroom. We had to use the bathroom across the street in the Sardi’s office building.
- Russell DavisJune 9, 2017Saw Hello Dolly! with Bette Midler. Great theatre. Orchestra seating under the balcony overhang can get a little hot.
- Paco MD FACSJuly 28, 2015If you are thinking this is a child's play, you have an other thing coming your way. The #Alphabet number and the #Swing number... #Speachless
- APANovember 2, 2014EXCELLENT production. The inter-generational acting, the set, the deep concepts mixed with humor. Really strong performance. Highly recommend.
- Trae FFebruary 11, 2018Hello Dolly! With Bernadette Peters is among the best Broadway shows you’ll ever see.
- John KutzAugust 5, 2016Matilda was a great show. The story trumped the music but wonderful for all ages
- Sisi W.January 22, 2014The head of the person in the row in front of you definitely blocks your view. The seats aren't as well positioned (height wise) as some other theaters on this street.
- The Balcony has poles from floor to ceiling at Row D seats 103 and 113 so you will have an obstructed line of sight if you are above these poles
- The New YorkerMarch 28, 20134/1/13 - Michael Schulman profiles the funniest singer-comedian you may have never heard of, Tim Minchin, songwriter for Matilda: The Musical: Read more
- Monica GoffApril 2, 2013Absolutely brilliant. This show will dominate at the Tonys. Also, the stage door is to the left when you walk out the door! Merchandise is downstairs.
- Philip A. FuscielloJanuary 5, 2018Bette Midler is Divine as Dolly Levi 💕 Awesome, memorable evening.❤💕

- Arlene MurphyApril 14, 2017Nice theater but bad reception. Hello Dolly is playing here which makes it worthwhile.
- Tracy KrupitzerSeptember 10, 2014Mid-orchestra seats are great in this house. Balcony can be a bit vertical. Shoot for orch or front mezz!
- Connie ChiuSeptember 4, 2014Surprisingly big theater. Matilda is a great show, though a bit dark and scary even though the actors are kids.
- allisonSeptember 26, 2014"And when I grow up, I will eat sweets every day on the way to work and I will go to bed late every night!" Matilda
- Gerry ScheidhauerJune 21, 2018#hellodolly again loved my seats center w/ no one behind me. Thought show was superb
- Steph SchneiderApril 23, 2019There is a big lid to the balcony making it hard to see. Don't sit too far back
- Michael LiuSeptember 8, 2014Fantastic Show! Very talented actors. Balcony seats still provide a good view.
- Princess SovanaNovember 16, 2014Small venue which makes for. A more intimate show; Matilda was great.
- Dennis BFebruary 8, 2020Do I love the Shubert or do I just love that I saw Bette Midler here in “Hello, Dolly”...TBD.
- Matilda The MusicalMarch 30, 2013Welcome to Matilda The Musical on Broadway! Thanks for checking-in with us and enjoy the show.
- DoubleDeuceJanuary 3, 2020Don't you worry, they always wait until everyone uses the bathroom before they restart the show.
- Ailie ChangSeptember 15, 2016Sat in Orchestra Row P and it was still a really good view of the stage!
- Holden CallfieldOctober 2, 2011So, it was, like, fifty bucks fir two whiskeys and a wine. The sippy cups just leak all over the place. Trust your instinct and throw out the lid.
- Norbert HuApril 18, 2011Be sure to check in before entering the building. AT&T (at least for my iPhone) can't get any signal in the seats. Perhaps by design?
- Repeat AttendersNovember 23, 2013Don't want to pay full price? Try the ticket lottery. 2.5 before curtain. $27 per ticket if your name is pulled out of a hat.
