- A vegetarian's dream come true. This place has been around for many years. It's a veggie institution. The macro plate with carrot dressing in the signature dish.
- Jennifer HaackOctober 11, 2014The macro plate is super filling and delicious. Steamed veggies, brown rice, white beans and seaweed salad. Go for the tahini dressing - it's amazing!

- Bob BrisleyMarch 20, 2013First time back since the renovation. It's lost it's "CORNELL"..... Spiffy digs and the grub doesn't feel as special and made just for you as it once did. Back to 6th ave....
- Morgana MasuSeptember 6, 2014Great real food with a wonderful taste! No sugar or refined ingredients just the food should be cooked
- GNTLMNJune 26, 2012Union Square goodness complemented by creative macrobiotic food. Check out their other two NYC locations as well!
- Nikhita MahtaniJanuary 18, 2016Not unbelievably flavorful but macrobiotic food rarely is! Get the tofu with sesame or a fish set with teriyaki!
- Michael GoiteinMarch 12, 2014Get the Macro Plate - nice combo of good, clean veggies, beans & grains
- Sidney San MartínJuly 1, 2015If you're in the mood for a big old plate of grains and cooked vegetables, you're covered.
- Sarah SFebruary 15, 2014Nice, filling and reasonably priced lunch. It was nothing to write home about. Tasted like it could be made at home with little effort. But I probably didn't order anything fun enough.
- this is not wimpy macrobiotic food... everything here is good but i fell in love wih the planet platter! for 8.50 you get a plate overflowing with nutrient rich tasty food.

- Vegan heaven! This is one of my favorite places to dine👍👍
- James YiuJune 23, 2012Jappa Soup is my favorite. Don't know why it is only available here, but not the Soho one.
- Try the Yuba in soup for a light meal. Goes good with steamed vegi or maze rice.
- This location sadly closed down permanently .. Soho location and east village still open
- Cathy GuevaraMay 20, 2013I think its important to more that fish is sold here...so its really more pescetarian lol
- Joanne ANovember 30, 2010If you ate here BEFORE the renovation, I'm sure you'll notice the huge change. They've totally lost the "organic feel" & have gone corporate.
- Harrison SomozaFebruary 17, 2012The Souen in the east village is way better. Service here was slow, and they don't offer the same things as the other one. And don't get the pad thai, it's noodles soaked in peanut sauce.
- Lauren MontemurroNovember 15, 2014Worst service! But amazing food. Loved the "pad Thai", cornbread was ok.
- Victor LongoSeptember 5, 2015The mushroom risotto is not very good. Too much rice, too few mushroom, too few salt to my taste.
- Adrienne BorgersenApril 6, 2010Fantasically flavorful bim bim bap, even if the rice isn't crispy :-)
