Cash only. Walk-in, no reservation. Great chinese food, not necessarily spicy. There is quite a lot of choice. The dumplings are great.

Better than Xi-an's - more flavor, more spice. Spicy beef stew noodle was yum, with a PBR from the corner Asian store for $1.50.

Highly recommended is the hui mei with spicy brisket sauce, which might almost remind you of a European stew. Read more

For all the great reviews, I was disappointed by the spicy brisket. NOT spicy in the least. The noodles were excellent though. The soup dumplings were pretty good.

Pork pancakes are cheap and tasty! Overall though I wasn't as wowed by this place as others. Had lots of more exciting Chinese food.

Try the pork pancake, which holds "a decent helping of minced pork that is doused liberally with hoisin sauce and topped with cilantro." Don't forget to add chili oil! Read more

Quaint spicy food place in Chinatown - if you like cumin-esque foods, this is good. Very limited seating; plan ahead. Also, I think they should not use plastic Asian soup spoons, low LOS from these.

They tell you 30 min but it ends up being an hr. Nothing is actually spicy. The chicken in the "chicken tray" is unrecognizable. Stick with the dumplings & noodle based dishes, if anything. Cash only!
